there's been a lot of turnover for the Connecticut Sun as well, but they still should be decent, still have Alyssa Thomas

and the draft should be great, a good amount of talent incoming from college

Damn. I'm not able to watch the game, just following the Gamecast but Maryland is WHOOPING Ohio State today. Was hoping we'd get Iowa-Ohio State three in the Big Ten Title Game, but I guess we'll have to hope to get that here in Cleveland in early April instead.

#1 undefeated South Carolina barely escapes an inferior Texas A&M team by single digits in their first game of the SEC tourney.

That's... not promising. We really don't need to treat this tournament like a coronation.

Yeah, I’m too mad that we squandered a double-digit lead in the second half and almost lost to celebrate the last-second heroics that never should’ve been necessary in the first place. :p

I'm not sure why #4 for LSU wasn't also disqualified given that she started the fight that got both benches ejected.

Still, can't complain about the result!

picked South Carolina to win the whole thing

Syracuse if they win the first game will most likely play Uconn next, so that's probably it for them

and UMaine won there conference, and so get to go and try and upset Ohio State lol, I'll be impressed if they keep the game within 20 points, but I live here now so it's cool to at least see them in the tournament

Indiana gave South Carolina a real scare. That early deficit was just a hole too big to climb out of, but the #1 team in the country definitely looked vulnerable.

I know it's really early, but Iowa looks so much better and so much more into their own natural rhythm on offense against Colorado. I wonder if they were pressing too much in front of the home crowd?

Caitlin Clark and Iowa back in the Final Four! She's my current basketball crush...though she can't top my fellow CSU Ram alumni: Becky Hammon. Go Iowa!

UConn could win the championship in both the men and women's championship games this year, like in 2004 and 2014.

But...they could also face the same school in both championship games: NC State.

@Psycho_Jedi That is good since you won't have to fight with one of our sons, whose current basketball crush is Paige Bueckers. Considering, however, that he is 13, his crush goes beyond her basketball prowess and him being a basketball nut and a total sports fanatic in general (all three of our kids love sports, especially our boys, but one of them, in particular, is the type you can throw a ball down the street and have him chase after it all day/every day and he will have a huge smile on his face) only adds to it and especially when you factor in that his "non-girlfriend..girlfriend" is a basketball stud in her own right as he is the first admit, she is way better than him. So, as my wife and I say, it seems he already has a type that Paige fits, so again, he will be relieved he won't have to fight you off. :D

I am also 100% puzzled about a couple of things, including why Jason Sudeikis was there. He considers Kansas, not Iowa, his home state and worst yet he is talking smack??

And does it make me a bad person to feel bad for the LSU players, but at the same time, I was upset that Iowa didn't win by 70 because of Kim Mulkey?

    Amazing, amazing game.

I swore off ever taking a Greyhound bus like 10 years ago after a series of their mishaps left me stranded for 48 hours. "Only in an emergency" I said.

...and I guess Caitlin Clark dropping a vengeful 41 a short ride away in Albany qualifies as an emergency. Though I did miss the net-cutting, which I may never live down.

Also, must be said-- Addison O'Grady played the game of her life. Refusing to give up space and back down under the rim was crucial after the halftime tie. If Iowa plays like a team like that, should be in for at least another good one.

Jason Sudeikis is a HUGE women's basketball fan in general, he's often spotted at New York Liberty games.

A wise man once told me this exact quote:

"Eating Skyline Chili is a lot like riding a Greyhound bus. You have to do it every once in a while to remind yourself why you should never do it again"
