Alas, beloved JCC Mod and Admin <a href="/user.asp?usr=606609" style="color: DarkRed;font-weight: bold;font-style: normal;background-color: DarkGray;text-decoration: none;border-top: 1px solid Black;border-bottom: 1px solid Black;border-right: 1px solid Black;border-left: 1px solid Black;">Katya_Jade</a> has decided to step down from all moderating duties to look after her new sprog and will return to the forums as a VIP. The decision has been made not to replace the administrative opening left by her departure. She will be missed by all, and we wish her all the best as she goes on to take care of little Joshua.

We had some complex web issues that bought the boards down, but they can be resolved.

As Katya leaves both her administrative role, and the JCC, we have been faced with the task of finding someone brave enough to mod the JCC.

Since the Episode 3 Trailer came out, we've been getting word from LFL that we really can't allow it to circulate. Some utterly evil people decided to circulate

I may be confusing this with administrator or just administration in general but does this mean, there will be only three admins? Or is someone already in the staff filling in her admin place?

Well, I'd like to think so for him. He would be a great choice.

 

Quite honestly speaking, if a user is felt so much to be a moderator of a forum, he or she will most likely get it. Nearly everyone in the AotC forum in 2002 thought YodaJeff would be perfect for the job and low and behold, the moderators noticed it too and he was modded. If someone busts their ass enough to make the community a better place, they won't be ignored.

Though, I don't want to start a pre-congrats thread.. but hey.

Not yet. And hopefully there will be more created.

 

I just want to say that I suggested the 24 hour period from 8pm ET on the 10th to 8pm ET on the 11th as being perfect for a moderator holiday.

Btw,can I give a suggestion for next week's update? Since Republic Commando just came out a few days ago,you guys ought to do a a update titled-"The squad is your weapon". Just like the slogan for the game.

 

Nice update SoloCommand. Best in a long time. Once again, sad to see Katya go from Comms and JCC. Who has the courage to bane the pesky noobs? It's good to see some restructuring before the MAIN EVENT.
