Unfortunately, Zahn didn't say "Thrawn is not now and has never been force sensitive," which means some people are still clinging to the belief that he used to be as a child but isn't anymore.
In all likelihood, if there’s going to be any kind of “reveal” regarding the navigators, it’ll be that Thrawn knew one personally growing up and was disheartened that they lost their powers and were cast aside. That’s as far as I see it going.
Pellaeon had to learn how to woo a potential partner from someone. Oh gods a fanfic of Pellaeon with Thrawn as his wingman just emerged. It's terrible.
I'm really excited for this book, I'm currently reading Treason and will be done in a few days but Thrawn is just such an interesting character how can you not want to know more?
So he's no family man then, he just in for the fleet and the military. I like it he is close to his rumored niece.
I'm intrigued for this new trilogy of Novels. Bummed that these won't take place after his disappearance, but under the circumstances I understand why that isn't happening. I'm hoping the Rebels Sequel has some truth to it.
Yeah, I'm almost done w/Treason and love it and was hoping for post Rebels stuff but I'm sure it'll be good. I do want to see that though somewhere.
I always figured that with the way Rebels ended that they’d follow it up with an animated show and not a Zahn novel. It’s too tightly woven into Filoni’s own saga, so naturally he’ll get first crack.
What if he's Force sensitive during the full moon? Or once a year? Or in the presence of certain types of rocks? Clearly Zahn was being intentionally vague to mislead us.
Florian from the Jedi-Bibliothek has found out that the Chaos Rising book has slipped FIVE months to October 6th. https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/...cendancy-book-i-chaos-rising-by-timothy-zahn/
To me that suggests they have a few unannounced books for 2020 and are working on scheduling. We only know of this and the TROS novel. That leaves three books if they follow their typical publishing pattern.
