    You know....about 10 years ago, I went down to Biloxi for a beach trip, and during that weekend, we stopped by the Stennis Space Center.
    They used Faltermeyer's Top Gun theme as part of a montage showing the history of the space shuttle program. From design, to testing, to launches.

    And honestly....I think the music fit better with NASA than it did with the Navy.
    It was really inspiring.


    Too bad we don't really have an official space program anymore and have to pay the Russians to send astronauts up.

    I hope Portia de Rossi returns to acting. I think she'd be great for Tom Cruise's love interest in this movie.

    Yeah the little guy was holding a toy plane when he meant Goose at the airport and Maverick carries him out:

    And like many small child roles, I believe they used twins for Goose's kid:

    Also Goose's wife name is Carole. Goose mentions her actual name I believe only once when he is talking to Maverick at the airport just before they arrive about why he didn't want to come there since he was so tired and was dragging his butt like an old dug. I know I seen other movies more times (like Star Wars) but I really do not think I know one any better then Top Gun.
