Why go to so much trouble and risk so much to then not board the shuttle to the Path?

Seems that will be her destiny. I think this could be Filoni's long term plan for his movie.

Good series on a character I like a lot. I'm very interested in where she goes from here and I hope she runs into Vos down the road.

Meaning the first appearance of a live action Ventress? That would be interesting in more ways than one. You get the haters out there complaining about her resurrection and the fact that such a powerful Force User somehow manages to survive well through the OT without making any appearances in the big picture (or even Rebels for that matter), and on the other side you get people that have always liked her character and do want more. She wasn't an original TCW character remember, she actually came from the micro series.

I thought the Ventress arc was good though it was kind of a weird ending with basically the whole trip to get him to the ship being for nothing. Was glad we got to see how she returned anyways.

Well, for a CIS fan it is good to know that anti-Dooku old man from TBB is now balanced by pro-Ventress old man here.

Liked the chase scene, reminded both of Mad Max and Mad Max-inspired scene in Moana.

I wonder how other Separatists felt about Ventress. Would be cool to see grandpa be a CIS soldier in a show one day. Maybe he served under Ventress. Those ten medals are quite interesting. Clearly this guy was a capable warrior. Would love to know more about the Confederate military.

Especially since the clone wars probably wasn't that long ago, so he must have been old even then.

No confirmation, but I get the feeling he was an officer or something.

About the ending 'lone wolf and a cub' in the Ventress ark. It looks like a generic trope but it is not. It's likely meant that Asajj cannot meet with Vos face-to-face without immediate dying due to her heart feelings burst out. So she introduced herself to the padawan under her real name (Asajj could easily avoid doing so) and then hepled him to find the Path to send Vos a message. It would explain why she had such a warm smile watching the ship flying off with, as she thought, the messenger to her love interest. The stranded padawan just cannot trigger that sort of reaction in her, not yet. But Lyco screwed up with Asajj's plot, didn't fly and self-appointed himself as her friend. That's why Asajj sighed and said she wish he was on that ship. P.S. Asajj light sider looks are beautiful, Nika's work is excellent, carry on.
