Trillian vs. AIM, YIM, MSN, ICQ et al - what is better???

Traillian 3.0 Pro, hands down.

 

I very much prefer AIM. It'd be even more perfect if they would ellimante the use of background colors ...

Yahoo's got some neat-o stuff, but the window is just HUGE... waaay too many options. Trillian drove me nuts, but i suppose eventually i could have gotten used to it.

Dead AIM rules.

Trillian is really nice. The latest version (Trillian 3) is a big upgrade over the older version.

Personally I like YIM the best, but it gives me a lot of log-on issues here. The best thing I can get at school is MSN, but AIM works alright too. But let's face it, YIM emoticons>MSN emoticons>AIM emoticons.

Where else do you get awesome smilies like these?

 

Big MSN user myself. I also have Yahoo but I never really use it.

 

I personally use Trillian. It works great IMO.

I use Fire for Mac OS X. Kind of like Trillian.

 

I installed GAIM for Windows. I used it when I had Linux on my comp and I thought it was cool. It looks shabbier than MSN messenger and has less useless features, but has some nice useful features and other cool stuff that MSN messenger doesn't. Plus you can use it as a client with about 5 other IM servers and it uses less memory than MSN messenger does.
