I don't eat much meat to begin with. Like I said, I worked there for a very very brief period... I'm not sure about the rest of their menu... I didn't stick around long enough to find out. [face_sick]

The whole "D grade meat" thing is an urban legend. It's gross, but it's not "barely fit for human consumption." Consult snopes.

There's a nice little Mexican resturaunt down in Mandurah. Sure it is kind of old and the place looks crappy but the food is great and it is made by Mexicans. So I guess it all depends on where you get it from. Just because you're Mexican doesn't mean you can make Mexican food.

I so want to go to Chapala's now. This is a mexican restaurant in our town. It is run by a family and they actually have multiple locations because as the sons have grown up and learned to be cooks they have opened their own places. The food is amazing and the service is fabulous. The restaurant is always clean and orderly. I have not found the food to be particularly greasy of course I usually order a chicken dish because their chicken is so tender and tasty. I don't mind the occasional trip to Taco Bell (once a year or less) but if I am going to eat "mexican food" I go to Chapala's.

I don't know if what I've eaten in the US was real Mexican food... But it was surely better than "Mexican" that you can find in Poland. Please, send us some Mexicans!

Haha don't even get me started on European 'Mexican food'.

In Amsterdam I frequently came across so-called Mexican food in grocery stores. Basically it had a picture on the box of what looked like a burrito, not a very appealing one either. But instead of calling it a burrito they simply put Mexico on the box above the picture. Like you're getting a box of Mexico. [face_laugh]

Have you ever been to a Mexican restaurant owned by Mexicans or for that matter seen a Mexican street vendor selling Mexican food?

    It's all crap!

Blasphemous. Methinks that karma for dining and dashing is catching up to you and you're just getting all the bad ones :p

I love authentic Mexican food, fortunately we have a lot of it around here in the South.

I see you are new here. The JCC is about everything not Star Wars. If Star Wars talk is what you are after there are lots of other areas of the boards that have plenty of it.

I am too lazy to read the whole thread, but I just want to make sure someone has told LMM that the easy solution is to stop stealing the "real" Mexican food and just steal the kind he likes.

Harhar. =D= I recommend stealing food that sucks and rewarding good food with monetary compensation.

    Rummy I believe it. ;)

My gf is half Mexican and even she admits that real Mexican food sucks(with no influence from me btw). It's unhealthy and just plain lard-induced-overdose-worthy-battleship-status crap.

It's not until it's executed by non-Mexicans that it becomes something more viable for human consumption. Better tasting and healthier. Whether it be Tex-Mex restaurant, El Torito or Taco Bell.

Sorry but after living in L.A.Mexico for all these years that's my conclusion. [face_not_talking]

I find that offensive. This implies that Mexicans ruin everything.[face_plain]:p
