Hilariously, I just watched Ida, a movie about a young novitiate nun in the sixties finding out that she was actually placed in the convent by her Jewish parents just before they disappeared during World War II.

It was a nihilistic, black & white, noir arthouse flick. From Poland, unfortunately, not Scandinavia.

But, Gawd, it was dreadful. It won't be getting anywhere near my top ten.
