The Phantom Menace is the best of the prequels, and Revenge of the Sith is my least favorite Star Wars movie.

I noticed there's a lot of posts in here that would otherwise trigger the lot, but everyone is getting away with it. So I'll leave mine here.

I actually am fond of several of Woody Allen's movies.

    That’s not particularly unpopular, I don’t think.

I'd win (or lose, depending on your point of view) this thread if I shared all of mine, but I hope y'all know me well enough by now to trust that I'm no troll. Still, I'll start with just one, which I was thinking about this past weekend... namely that Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is a well-written, well-made, and well-acted addition to the series' legacy, second only to The Last Crusade, and just a brilliant movie all around.

I do not particularly hate the movie, I actually find it quite entertaining. But I still prefer to act as if The Last Crusade was the last of the Indiana Jones movies, simply because I think it is a great finale to the saga.

And speaking of Indiana Jones, Temple of Doom is my least favorite of the Indiana Jones movies.

I've only watched Raiders of the Lost Ark and Temple of Doom, and I only liked Temple of Doom.

For me, it's currently a tie between Raiders of the Lost Ark and Dial of Destiny, both of which I enjoy enough, but nevertheless have serious problems with.

Temple of Doom is pretty awesome. :) I'm with you there!

Despite its many flaws and unanswered questions, LOST is one of the best shows ever created.

"Raiders" is enough of a classic that I went to see it as part of a double feature (with "Top Gun Maverick") at Shankweiler's Drive-In. In eastern PA. In January, In mid-30 degree temperatures.
"Temple of Doom" has some good elements, but is far too horror-centered for my tastes. I really enjoyed "Last Crusade", and I thought "Crystal Skull" was a nice coda (Marion's return!). I haven't seen "Dial of Destiny" yet.
And I liked the Old Indy segments from "Young Indiana Jones". So, how did he lose his eye, anyway?

The X-Files mythology isn't actually that complicated and the show actually explained almost everything about the mythology during its first nine seasons. The oft-stated opinion that it left a lot of things unexplained just isn't true.

Good one. That's a really unpopular opinion, because that movie was objectively terrible.

I thought Everything Everywhere All At Once was overrated. As a matter of fact, I really don't know anyone among my family or friends who really liked it.

    Spider-Man 3

Me then “Nobody would go to church to ask God to strike down some guy they don’t like at work that’s dumb.”

Me now. “Oh, not only do those people exist they are all running the country now.”

    Since we’re doing Spider-Man…

Spider-Man 1 is a much better movie than Spider-Man 2, because Raimi’s stylistic cheese and camp only really works the first time around, and his Peter suffers the more it hangs around…

…And the MCU Spider-Man Trilogy is a better overall version of Spider-Man. Iron Man as a mentor figure isn’t a flaw, but an excellent feature because he’s mostly a failed mentor they use to emphasize how Peter’s power level initially outpaces his maturity and preparedness for the big leagues, and thus MCU Peter is just as scrappy as Raimi Peter, and in a better place on a character-construction level.

The best James Cameron film is True Lies.
