Are you sure you didn't get that from the Uglies thread a little bit ago and saw my Twin Wing? Two X-wings mounted in tandem kinda similar to the F-82 Twin Mustang. One X-wing fuselage modified to carry bombs.

Ok, I just did the search myself and found what you're refering to. Looks more tainer style than the Twin Wing I came up with.

    Chronological Order

    T-65B X-wing - first full-production model.

T-65C-A2 X-wing - next version. changes are kindly noted above.

    T-65R X-wing - recon-X; unarmed. sensor-studded.

T-65AC4 X-wing - heavy upgrade, came 10 years after Endor. Advanced targeting, fire control, and power distribution; more powerful laser cannons, and 4 torps in the 2 launchers.

T-65BR X-wing - advancement over T-65R. higher-grain sensors, relies on specialized R2-R unit, armed with 4 laser cannons, self-destruct system.

TX-65 X-wing - this could be put anywhere, but it is first seen in the BFC. Unarmed with a wider cockpit to support a side-by-side 2-seat cockpit.

T-65D-A1 X-wing - replaces astromech with more computers, giving the pilot more options and increasing maneuverability.

T-65A3 X-wing - introduced shortly before the peace with the Remnant. Lasers and shields are more power efficient and weapons are more accurate.

T-65XJ X-wing - Additional torpedo launcher, but each can only carry 3 torps like the earlier models.

T-65XJ3 X-wing - variable stutter lasers, grab-proof shields, and decoy enhanced pro torps. It now has 4 torps per each of its 3 launchers. It is also an extra .1m long.

As you can see, there can be many assumptions made for other X-wings that were never named (this is just the list from the Unofficial Encyclopedia and my own Star Wars stuff). It can be assumed that the T-65BR is just a recon variant of the AC4, as the T-65R is a recon variant of the B or C-A2 variants. Also, there was probably a T-65A (or just simply the T-65) that was designed for Imperial use, but the T-65B was the design that was adopted by the Rebels. Sort of like the B-1A and B-1B bombers.

I think that tandem X-wing is a one-shot model or insanely upgraded version, because it's paint-job and that guy who uses it suggests it is not a military model.

The Corellian Trilogy takes place a year before HoT, which would place before peace with the Remnant. And depedning on someone's definition of shortly, the Corellian Crisis could well be said to take place shortly before peace with the Remnant. The X-wing Enhanced made it's appearance during the Corellian Trilogy and appears to be viewed as fairly new during the Corellian Crisis in in-universe terms. Could it be that the A3 is the X-wing Enhanced. I know I've seen somewhere where it says the Enhanced is supposed to be about the speed of an A-wing, and the OS says the A3's speed is comparable to the A-wing.
