Seriously; I'd buy a second ticket on the spot, substantially alter my baseline theories of aesthetics, and submit the results to academic journals. "In a world where 'I'm the goddamn Batman' can be spoken in film," I would argue, "we have finally verified objective beauty."

 

I'm commenting on the fact that the cowl is clearly inspired by the Frank Miller Batman who (in)famously stated "I'm the goddamn Batman."

Might be something with the cowl that results in that. More flexible than what's been used, but not enough to keep the head from being tilted like that. Kinda like Bale's.

So, I hadn't actually heard that Terrio was brought in to rewrite Goyer's BvS script -- but that actually makes me change my tune a bit. I'm still not sold on the vision that Snyder et al were going for with Man of Steel but addressing the glaring plot flaws and writing in the first film would go a long way.

Combine that with someone of his caliber potentially then on the JL movie. Well, color me more optimistic.

I'm not getting the straps at all. And there seems to be a real lack of blue in there. But then again, I still hate the color bland look of these films anyway. At least she has her lasso.

 

Given that the muted color, leathery look is something I've been a fan of for a few years now, I like it for the most part. I think it's keeping in the spirit of the costume while still at least appearing a little more functions. Not sure about the high heeled boots, even with the fused design, but that's not the a deal breaker.

 

Why so brown?

 

Maybe it's not so brown as bronze, as in pre superhero costume (if there is a costume) hoplite armor. And what's she doing in Mustafar anyway?
