Sneider says Daniel Radcliffe is in talks to play clayface in the clayface movie… shouldn’t it be Tudyk? Since this movie is supposed to be in the same universe as creature commandos?

this universe just started and it’s already really confusing.

Gunn explanation is that Tudyk as Clayface is not his "primary role" (that would be Doctor Phosphorus). Which, eh, fine.

 

I mean if you squint you can see the ring on Hal's finger, they're gonna like actually fly right? Ah well, I'm sure Kyle Chandler will be great even if it turns out to be a True Detective clone but once every 2 episodes some green energy flying happens

 

That may have something to do with Guy Gardner always being a stupid dork in a bowl cut, who's in full costume in the trailer, whereas Hal and Jordan typically look like normal people and are seen here in civies. I don't think that has anything to do with internal universe consistency.

I don't really have any doubts that we're going to see both in full Green Lantern uniforms throughout the series, nor do I think that each film or TV series pursuing a different tone is "all over the place". That's consistent with how DC has always operated, and the goal here isn't to ape the MCU by making every piece of media look and feel the same.

Hal, John and Kyle often dress in civilian clothes whereas Guy wears his uniform most of the time, when off the clock. In issue 25 of the 1989 series, Hal visits Guy in his apartment and he's wearing his suit.

 

Is Will Arnett playing Batman? I couldn't tell.

Okay, but the villain costumes are legitimately good.

It's a State Farm commercial, it probably has a bigger budget than entire seasons of Gotham, Pennyworth, Batwoman and Gotham Knights

 

They look better than some of the villains we've seen in the big budget movies

 

Not sure how I’m supposed to know that’s Joker without “Damaged” tattooed on his forehead…

 

I'd say that John Shea from Lois & Clark was the second best Lex Luthor.

I don't know if you ever read Lantern comics but Guy Gardner has literally never looked like a regular person.
