Was padme physically attracted to anakin?

Doo you think anakin's looks had anything to with padme's attraction to him?

Even though people may say no to this but love=/=lust. I am sure she thought he looked good, but I think it was more love than lust.

 

According to Natalie Portman on the AOTC special features disc, Padmé was indeed physically attracted to Anakin.

 

What does Natalie know, and besides, she was jokeing.

 

Since she's the one who played that character from 1997-2005, I'd say she knows quite a bit about Padmé.

Girls have hormones too, guys. Not just us... I'm sure she was attracted by his looks in one way or another. It's like saying Anakin was attracted to Padme solely because of her mind. It's stupid. She had more looks than mind anyways if she died of a broken heart after marrying a murderer...

 

It's the dark side that makes Anakin so appealing. (Not sure if Padme felt the same way, but I do ).
I find the character of Anakin extremely attractive (not talking about the actor - he's fine, but doesn't do it for me).

Not only was there an obvious attraction when she'd look at him (evident in their glances throughout the films), but there was some charm thrown in. I mean, "You've Grown," followed by, "So have you...grown more beautiful" would sucker a lot of women. Not to mention "You're exactly the way I remember you, in my dreams."

 

Was Padme physically attracted to Anakin? Yes. There certainly wasn't any other good reason for her to be attracted to him, other than that the plot called for it.

 

Padme doesn't really act like she was physically attracrted with anakin. If she was, she would have made love with him.

 

Luke and Leia would say she did just that, dude.

Um, she married the dude and had kids. She loved him. Love = overall attraction. She loved him for everything about him, the whole package. Thats why she died because of him. To think that love is based just on looks means you've obviously never been in love or close to it. But did Padme? No... that's why she was always crying over him.

This is not true. She had lots of looks and more mind than looks. She died of extreme emotional stress combined with the strain of childbirth. It happens. (Admittedly, that Force-choke didn't help. ) And she had a lot to be stressed about - her good Jedi husband seduced to the Dark Side by an evil Sith, and the fall of the Republic she risked her life to preserve into the hands of that same evil Sith. Anakin wasn't a murderer when she married him. (What's a tribe of butchering Tuskens anyway?) As as for the Jedi Purge, well...the Jedi Council drove him to participate in Sidious' plans for their extinction by badly mishandling Anakin's case from the start.

Now to answer the question: Yes, definitely! She never looked repulsed by his touch to me. In AOTC it was "I'd like to kiss you, but I shouldn't". In RotS "I'd like to kiss you, but they'll see us."
