Whoever mentioned "His Girl Friday" - I love that movie! One of my all-time absolute favorites. It always reminds me of why I wanted to study journalism.

I think my fave Cary Grant movie would have to be Bringing Up baby. OPf course just about anything with Katherine Hepburn is pure gold.

 

One of my favorite scenes is near the end, when Earl's pulled out of the desk, and all the City Hall reporters are watching and completely making up details over the phones.

It's that thing where you cover your kids' ears, so they don't hear anything that they don't understand but still shouldn't be hearing.

Like, for instance, as much as I love "Family Guy," I wouldn't let a little kid watch it. Not until he/she understood certain facts of life...

 

oh most definitely...family guy does not get watched by my boy....though he does adore Danny Phantom and Xialan Showdown...

 

that scene is hilarious as well.

there's a lot of scenes in that movie that are great.
