Well, it is Christmas time, so I think it time to give this thread a big up for such Wierd Al Christmas songs as The night Santa went crazy and Christmas at Ground Zero.

Everybody's dyin' to know, oh Santa... why?

    yes it does.

Weird Al is funny, and he doesn't even have the funniest songs out.

Those belong to the likes of Ludacris, Method Man & Red Man, Missy Elliot, and Eminem

Yep. Only the Greatest Hit #2 and Bad Hair Day through Poodle Hat are now. That's not even half his stuff.

I only have one of his songs on CD, but it's one of the best recordings I've ever heard: The Alternative Polka. He didn't have to change the lyrics to jokes or anything; he just played the tunes straight with a polka combo and one-upped the whole genre.

I love the polka's. My favorites are the first one, 'Polkas on 45' & the latest 'Angry White Boy Polka'.

As far as my CD collection goes, I have the box set, 'Permenant Record' which has quite a few songs. I also have Dare to be Stupid, Alapalooza, Bad Hair Day, Running with Scissors & Poodle hat. I have a cassette of In 3-D, too. :)

    OH MAN!!!!

I found my ticket signed by the band members, and saw Al on a comercial for Jeoproady today and remembered about this thread.

Has anyone heard the new Ben Folds tune w/ Al on backup vocals. Its kinda cool. I bit hard to hear Al though, but its cool.
