No idea who those voice actors are. That's exactly the point, thanks for helping me illustrate it.

It clearly illustrates the fallacy that one has to be a "name" in order to provide quality entertainment. It does not follow. Those guys I listed earlier... how do I say? "THAT's entertainment".

And yes, Latta was Cobra Commander, but also Starscream. What a voice. All those guys are great.

Dracula and Peggy Sue got married were horrible. And I agree, who cares what anyone thinks. As long as you enjoyed it. That is all that matters.

Wil Wheaton...hmm not the finest thespian to grace Trekkie TV screens IMO.

Can you imagine if Coppola actually collaborated with Lucas creatively? By this I don't mean what they've done before (Coppola produced THX-1138 and American Graffiti) but to have them co-write and direct (I don't think co-direction would work because they'd conflict too much. I'd prefer Coppola to direct because he is a perfectionist when it comes to performances) a project would be utterly amazing!

"Good thoughts, anyway does anybody know what Tim Burton thought about AOTC?"

Who blood cares? Did you *see* Planet of the Apes???? Bah!

And Mark Hamil is a cool guy, who had much success and respect from theater, and realised his dream through what some would call lame roles such as Trickster and voice over work in cartoons. Hey, if it's what the guy loves, who cares if he's not in some modern brainless mainstream movie.

I do recal that he said he thought TPM needed a cynic, like Han Solo.

Perhaps the reason for the lack of a cynic in TPM is the fact that in those times the Republic and the Jedi were ideals that worked, that hadn't been proved wrong by an Empire. So people believed in them....

however that seems wrong because everybody seems to be disenchanted with them.

Actually, I don't think Harrison Ford did. I can remember reading an interview with him in Empire Magazine where he said although he greatly respected the actors involved in the film (perhaps that's why he cast Liam in K-19: The Widow Maker), he didn't think it was as good as the Classic Trilogy.

Well, maybe he did say that, but that doesn't mean he didn't like it. Many people like the prequels but don't think they're as good as the OT.

EDIT: I looked it up on Empire Magazine Online. The whole interview isn't available online, but here's what he said when asked how TPM stacked up against the OT:

And how does he think The Phantom Menace compares to Star Wars?

"It's a very different type of movie to the films we made which depended on the relationships between three or four characters. I see it as groundwork for the other films George is doing now and understand and appreciate the efforts involved. I also think the actors involved are very good."

Hey, don't ever diss the B-man. POTA may not have been so hot, but Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Ed Wood are finer crafted films than the prequels will ever be. And I love the prequels :)

The PT is much better than the OT.....

I'd like to see what E3 would be like with Coppola as director... ;)
