What does the medical droid say!???

    Remember how many things the phrase "Ya-Tee, Yo-Toe" meant in ROTJ when Leia said it? (As the bounty hunter Boosh)

    Yeah, I don't think the alien languages really mean much most of the time. Certainly not if you've played KOTOR!

    The subtitles show that the droid is speaking in an alien language btw everyone...

    In the films there is at least a flow and logic to the alien languages. In "Knights of the Old Republic", they just looped the same few sound samples over and over again, which sounded pretty naff most of the time.

    Wrong, wrong, wrong. The droid says "Bah weep granah weep ninni bong" - which EVERYone knows is the universal greeting! The droid was welcoming Luke into the world.

    I agree with the poster above. Obi was translating for Padme. The word ending in O is for the boy and in A for the girl.
