What? Plan 9 is great! You're just upset because you know that future events such as those will affect you in the future, because that is where we are all going to spend the rest of our lives.

I tried to warn you it was a "disaster" movie.

What was your problem with this? I can understand not enjoying it, if you prefer different genres or something. But I can't really see someone calling it the "worst film" they've ever watched.

I think MST3K only really count if you've seen them in a normal form, personally. People tend to just count the MST3K stuff because it's MST3Ked but you can do that to any movie and make it look bad that way.

And most of the first half hour aside, I like the Holiday Special. And the ending I always forget exists.

I really didn't like Princess Mononoke. I'm admittedly not an anime fan, though I at least give it the benefit of the doubt, but this was too much for me. Perhaps it'd be different if I wasn't watching it for a class that still makes me shudder when I remember it.

I would agree for the most part, but the three I listed above truly are very horrible films.

Nobody really ever gets past the first half hour unless they're forcing themselves to do so, or they're watching the RiffTrax version.

    Burial of the Rats.

Oh, I love me some bad movies. Here are just a few gems I have seen, discounting MST3K ones (honestly, I don't even think they make them any more watchable, but maybe that's just me):

    Troll 2
    Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus
Zombi 2 (or was it 1? Nobody seems to know)
    Battlefield Earth
    The Creeping Terror
    Spring Break Shark Attack
    Cheerleader Ninjas
    Glitter
    Justin and Kelly
Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine
Planet of the Apes (the newer, even crappier one)
    Santa Claus Conquers the Martians

EDIT: Totally forgot Nymphoid Barbarian in Dinosaur Hell. How did I manage that?

Movies I badly want to see:
    The Room
    Shark Attack 3: Megalodon
    Mega Shark vs Crocosaurus
    Manos: The Hands of Fate
    The Beast of Yucca Flats
The one with the zombies that start a rock band...

Any film on the Sci Fi channel. "Python" was really bad, even worse was that they made a sequel "Python 2." Sadly, these films are so bad they are like train wrecks, you just have to watch till the end.

    OK, I'll give a few theatrical examples;

Superman IV 'The Quest for Peace.'
    Snakes on a Plane
JAWS 4 'The Revenge' <--- not sure of the correct title it was so bad.
    Batman Forever
    The Core

These films made a whole new category of 'sucking!'

Honorable mention goes to '2012.' I did learn some lessons from this film. If the world is destroying itself, all one needs is a Limousine to drive trough a crumbling Los Angeles. THEN get to Yellowstone National Park and get a Winnebago to drive down the mountain as it is exploding and escape on a small Cessna aircraft as the runway breaks beneath you, not to mention the thermoplastic flow that nearly burns you to death. You can fly right through that ****! Good survival tips!

    Roland Emmerich's "Godzilla".

Of movies that are well regarded, "The Piano": a snooze-fest for almost 2 hours, then Harvey Keitel rapes Holly Hunter, but manages to hit the right spots, so that she starts to enjoy it, they live happily ever after.

Pretty bad, but Rage Against The Machine got a good track out of it. "No Shelter." ;)

Madness. Snakes on a Plane was the most fun I've ever had in a theater.

Beast of Yucca Flats is a good painful one to include...... the other one, are you talking Hard Rock Zombies? Or another movie?

I think I've watched the Holiday Special, in full, at least 6 or 7 times if I'm not including having watched it with RiffTrax enhancements. Honestly, I think I may have seen it more than Empire.

I've just remembered one that jumps to high on my list.... Zombies Gone Wild.

The Last Airbender. I still marvel at how Shyamalan took a fantastic source material and managed to turn it into a crappy, boring, nonsensical film with Worst Ensemble Acting Ever. That sort of thing takes talent, to mess things up on so many levels.

    Hear, hear!

Plan 9 From Outer Space is so bad it's brilliant. :D

I was not very fond of the remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still, but it could've been worse.

I'd almost forgotten JAWS: The Revenge (thankfully), it was truely terrible. The bit where the rubber shark floats towards the plane always comes back to haunt me. You'd think that given it was made years after the orginal that the shark effects would've improved instead of getting worse. Spielberg's "Bruce" wasn't very good but it was far better than later sequel attempts at making a shark.
Why Michael Caine wasted his time with a movie like this I do not know.

I'm glad I didn't see the remake of Arthur, I heard it was pretty bad.

Irréversible, a 2002 French film by Gaspar Noé. It's totally unwatchable from beginning to end, since the movie moves in reverse chronological order; that is, the scnes shift from the end of the plot to the beginning. Worse, it contains a really, really prolongued rape scene that gets downright unwatchable as the seconds tick by.

    I liked Jaws 4. It's way better than 3.

I'm not sure what the worst movie I've ever seen is but I know all those lifetime/oxygen movies in health I was forced to watch sucked pretty bad...

I mean I hated the Notebook and Twilight but at least those have better acting and stuff than those...

I wouldn't say it's a bad movie though, it's just bizarre and twisted.

Any credit the movie could be given musically is undone by Sean Combs' (I'm not even going to to try to keep track of what his nickname is at this point) absolute rape of "Cashmere". Jimmy Page, how could you?

Princess Mononoke is hardly anime, and is that the worst movie you've ever seen or just one you don't care for?
