So who do you think will no about him killing Sheev by the ST?

 

At MOST, the inner circle of the New Republic. The parentage of Luke and Leia will be a closely kept secret. Leia is a leading member of the New Republic. The political backlash if she was known to be the daughter of Vader would be astronomical. She may tell Mothma. She has a good, standing parentage story, though, so I don't think it will be well known.

 

Unless someone in the higher echelons of the Empire leaks Vader's former identity. Tarkin knew about it and maybe someone else.

Even if Kylo Ren and his allies know about it, they may think it was the right thing to do because Sheev drove the Empire into the ground. That could be an explanation why they worship Vader and not Sheev Palpatine.

Darth_Pevra, where do you get the idea that Tarkin knew? And, even if he did, that knowledge died with him on the DS 1.

 

In the "Tarkin" novel he guessed it.

 

Vader couldn't possibly have confirmed it. Vader, himself, didn't know, did he?

I think in ANH at least the secret is out between them because of the way Vader talks about Kenobi.

 

Anyone here read the last issue of Darth Vader? I thought it was great and Vader was both a badass as well as incredibly smart.

Was this the first time someone threw a lightsaber at a flying ship? That was insane. Badass lever over 9000 for sure.

 

Yeah, I also thought that was an excellent scene. Minimalist but powerful and inventive, that's Vader.

holy **** vader was insanely powerful three rebel squadrons can’t even land a hit on him wth he can deflect torpedoes just with his robotic hand he casually blows up ships with just debris he's surrounded by an entire army of rebels pointing blasters at him from miles away he’s not even fazed IT WAS ORGASMIC

Uh, I can’t even put my thoughts together.

 

Sigh, I haven't even read Darth Vader #1, no bookstore or comic shop nearby. Thankfully I can still get the TPB at my library so hopefully I can get caught up.

Haven't gotten to Vader Down yet (or even Darth Vader #12) but I did get to finish Star Wars #12 and, it has to be restated,

Darth Vader is probably my favorite movie character. My favorite line and moment in the OT is, "No, I am your father!" In the PT, "I hate you!"
