Everyone pretty much has the witty lines covered, so I'll just add my voice to the "buy this game" crowd.

If you're in the UK, Amazon were selling it for £14.96. Bargain of the year on Xbox for me. Never for one second did I stop enjoying this game.

Particulary liked the hanger levels with the droid dispensers. Tough and required a bit of thought, always good in a game. For me the best SW game to date, and if you haven't read Republic Commando:Hard Contact then please get a copy. It goes hand in hand with the game and is very well written and further develops the individuality of the clone commandos, as in the game.

I for one add my voice to the "give us a sequel" gang. There's a 2nd book coming out next year which will have Sev, Scorch et al in it as well as the squad from the original book. Life is good!!

 

"Yeah! We'll make them regret the day they blew up Delta Squad" ~ Scorch. Easily one of the best lines.

And just to put my voice in with the rest, this is a must-buy Star Wars game, and it truly does deserve a sequel.

I don't remember the exact quote, because I rented the game and played through it once (and LOVED single player, although multiplayer was kind of weak..) but it's Sev talking about the backup power generators, and how they're fighting in a tree. Lol

 

Scorch: This place is freaking me out.

Sev: Cmon Scorch, there's nothing better than a jungle hunt. Creeping through the underbrush, putting a plasma bolt through someone's cranium, it's great!

Scorch: Now Sev is freaking me out.

Scorch- "This is for Delta 23! Or was it Delta 32?"

He says this is for Delta 32 a couple times in the game as a war cry, anyone know why? Were the Deltas apart of a previous squad like Omega squad from the book RC:HC?

Not the funniest but the way Scorch delivers it just sounds so damn cool. I can't belive this funny guy was also the whinniest, annoyiest and the dodgiest haircut guy 4000 years ago.

 

I'm assuming Delta Squad was another squad like that. The reason the clone commandos have more of a personality was because the Kaminoans didn't fiddle with them as much, and the ARC Troopers were trained by Jango Fett himself. The clone troopers are actually the only ones that are like droids.

 

What I mean was Delta 32 a commando he knew, and was Scorch from another squad? But the more I think about I think 32 was from the squad that failed in Geonosis and Scorch and the rest of Delta might have known them. Or he could have been a Commando that died in training and was replaced by Sev, Fixer, or even Boss.

Republic Commando is with no dought my all time favorite game. The ROTS the video game is probably my second. I mean they're good games.

I think that the one linerslike that, make the game alot funner. Like in ROTS the video game, they don't say that much funny stuff. they just say stuff like "Stay down!"
