The scenes that I skip are too numerous to list here but the main ones are any scenes with Anakin and Padme talking except the scene on Mustafar. I feel that there are about 45 - 60 minutes of interesting and watchable scenes in ROTS. The rest are bantha poodoo.

All Anakin/Padme scenes. All that cheesiness can make a person lactose intolerant.

Fat_Bird... you read the thread title too quickly. It's skipping TO, not from. ;)

I find myself enjoying different moments at different times. Sometimes, it's best not to watch the high emotional points, I feel, through fear of wearing them out. And for what it's worth: I very much enjoy ALL of the Anakin/Padme scenes!

I usually watch all but one scene. Out on Padme's balcony w/the cheesy dialog.

    Anakin: You are so beautiful
    blah
    blah
    blah
Anakin: No its because I'm so in love with you.

    C'mon now.

I skip any seen with Padme. She is just an aweful character and Portman managed to do an even worse job of acting in Sith than in Clones (I didn't think it possible).

Padme/Portman--the worst thing to happen to Star Wars, ever. Otherwise, I love Sith!

    [hr]

I must say that the shots of Padme right before the attempted arrest of Palpatine and the one of her crying after hearing knews that Anakin had returned to the temple were particularly convincing. I almost shed a tear along with her. It's very powerful stuff.

I think most of it's great, so I watch as much as I can. If I have to start leaving things out it'll be the Grievous stuff, because he never really captured my imagination, and the Anakin / Padme stuff, apart from on Mustafar and immediately before he goes to Palpatine and Mace. That last scene I mentioned is just about my favourite Padme / Anakin scene ever. I think it's so good because there's no dialogue.

I dont skip anything, and I really wish all the Portman bashing would end. Natalie did a fine job with the part. I thought the Hairbrus scene was kinda cool cause it showed them away from the action and stress of their respective roles in the universe. This was just Anakin and Padme, together in love. Now if some of you have ever had a girlfriend to be intimate with, I know you have all said some romantic mush to your lady too.

One should also bear in mind that Anakin and Padme were apart for a long time. This is the first chance that Anakin has had to admire his wife in some while. The balcony scene is a nice visual contrast to their initial meeting behind the pillar: they're not really hiding (one could almost say thy're being reckless by standing together on an open-air balcony) and Padme has already divulged the news of her pregnany; ergo, the two are are both very relaxed. One last difference: behind the pillar, the two were embracing each other, but Anakin now stands lazily to one side and is able to visually appraise the image of his wife from a comfortable distance and in the private surroundings of his wife's apartment. Their love is as breezy as the air that ripples through Padme's hair. It's the one and only scene in which it seems the two have all the time in the world.

I just like to sit down every once in a while and pop in ROTS and skip immediately to a scene just to see it. I very rarely watch the film anymore in its entirety because I am quite bored of it all(not that its boring material, but the images are still in my mind from the last time I saw it), but I have been trying to unlock that Yoda hiphop easteregg which is near-impossible on my player. :(
