What Single Thing Really Made Anakin Likeable To You?

the scene where he and padme have a stolen moment in the shadows of the great senate building.

 

The scene in the elevator in ROTS was so different than the one in AOTCs and showed how far Obi-Wan and Anakin have come in their friendship. That scene portrayed Anakin with a sense of humor which only added to his wonderful charm. The opening scene of ROTS showed him to be thoughtful, loyal, caring and responsible and the addition of a sense of humor sealed it He had so much confidence and more talent to back it up and that was really an asset to his personna too. That was the *moment* for me and it has been obsession ever since.

 

I really liked the fact that ROTS made him more sympathetic. He really seemed to want to be a hero, until the stuff hit the fan.


Let's make sure we keep this about Anakin and leave the Hayden worship to Star Wars Community.

I like the way he operates all these mechanical things - be it a spaceship or a robo. He seems to know lots of things about what is inside the mechanisms, and repair them when needed. I like how he "created" R3PO, and his skill of a pilot, too. I think it's very important to know such things - I don't remember other jedi know all that (except Luke).

 

I thought I was on topic?

My obsession is with Star Wars and it's because of ROTS. I never expected the saga to develope the way it did and it made me want to watch all the other episodes again because I thought of Vader in a different light. Thats all. No Hayden worship
I just really liked what GL did with his character.

 

Anakin does two things which make him at all likeable -

1. He sticks up for R2 with Obi Wan ("Hey, no loose wire jokes")

2. He turns into Darth Vader.

 

His determination. His ambition to become the strongest. I think those are two very important qualities. Of course, he tried to go about becoming powerful in the wrong way but thats beyond the point.

 

To me, he was already likeable. Just troubled.

However, in ROTS the things that made him more likeable:

"I was about to say that."

"I've missed you Padme."

And the entire sequence of scenes from the beginning of the Hairbrush Scene through to the end of the discussion about his nightmare. Great stuff.

There were a lot of things that made Anakin likeable. He cared about so much people. He saves so many people. He saves Obi-wan from the buzz droids. Palpatine told Anakin to leave Obi-wan but Anakin did not listen to Palpatine and he took Obi-wan with him. There were a lot of other things that made Anakin very likeable.

 

i like Anakin for not being afraid to be himself, despite all his flaws ans shortcomings, he accepts who he is and is comfortable in his own skin.
