Had it gone ahead, what did you have on your 'must do' list? Was it certain guests? Panels? Merchandise?

Mostly meeting up with people. There are some panels that I always want to see though, especially the Caninarchaeology one and if there i a music panel I usually enjoy them as well.

I would probably have gone to the ESB anniversary panel, even if I got really disappointed with the TPM anniversary one.

It would have been the wrap up Celebration for me from these past five years of being hugely involved in the convention community. It's where this period started for me, and it's where it would have ended. I was looking forward to that.

Definitely would have been into all the ESB anniversary festivities. I think it would have been the last true hurrah for Mark Hamill as well, so I would have done all things Hamill.

Crazy to think how totally different things would be if we were all gearing up to attend Celebration right now. There would be a handful of big panels to attend each morning, and we'd all be forming wristband groups and talking about overnight/early morning line ups. I think there would have been at least one ST panel where the main actors from it could talk candidly about it for the first time, so that would have been huge. A lot of people would have their autograph and photo schedules, and I imagine this would have been the Celebration where the ST actors would have done those for the first time, so those would have been insanely popular and would have sold out instantly.

Maybe in an alternate universe we are currently attending Celebration.

My top priority was to avoid @ChrisLyne at all costs.

I wasn't going to be able to go but was looking forward to watching as many of the live streams as possible. Was hoping for a good Mandalorian panel(s) and just finding out as much as possible about what's to come. I guess we will still get some of this but even watching from home it's just not the same as if the event is actually going on vs a virtual convention.

If we were there I'd have definitely joined the lines/tried the lotteries for Mando Season 2, Empire's 40th and whatever the other major panels were going to be.

Any panel with Filoni is always great. And David Collins' music panel was fantastic in Chicago so if he one in Anaheim it would have been top of my list.

I wasn't going to make it to this one but if I could have, Disneyland would have been top priority. I haven't been since I was six and I was sick as a dog when I was there. 32 years later I have 2 kids and would love to take them. We are regulars in DW in Florida but Land is a very different experience.
Priority 2, getting a chance to meet up with the people I've met over the years and only see at Celebration. Maybe prove to my wife that these people do exist and they aren't all as crazy as she imagines.

Wait… I think I hear music. But it's wrong. It's sounds more like the theme for Mission Impossible.

Well, Disneyland (GE) for sure! Otherwise, I keep hoping to get a photo op with Mark Hamill. Whenever I tried, the photos were sold out or Mark wasn't attending the convention! I hope he attends in 2022 and still in good shape for a photo!

Since it's the 40th Anni. of ESB, panels concerning that movie would be important, going to The Store for goodies, Hallmark booth, taking pictures of Costumed fans, exhibits, wishing I had a group to meet up with, this Jawa has been alone at every Cele. attended.(2 through the last one in Chicago, no international ones-weep) I'm almost done with autographs but fun to see the lines and surprise celebrity appearance. just being around fellow fans- no judgements, courtesy abounds(most of the time)every one accepts everyone else, a very good feeling of peace.

This is true... There are all different SW fans at Celebrations (some are into autographs, some are gamers, some are collectors, etc), but I've always enjoyed the courtesy and respect of everyone towards everyone else. We're all in this together!

This forum usually do a "meet up", which I have yet to attend. Plus, there was "Forcechella 2" in Chicago. I was there and it was really great! I missed the first edition in Orlando 2017. You have to attend at least one party (or event in the evenings)! As for going around Celebration, I usually prefer to be on my own, but I end up talking to lots of SW fans all the time!

I go to cons by myself all the time, don't mind it, I wouldn't want my husband to suffer the crowds and be doing something he wouldn't enjoy- he hates crowds. I usually wear one of my Star Wars shirts I make, on the plane and have all sorts of gadgets hanging from the carry one or back pack. that usually brings on conversations. I find it fun telling people about Star Wars and Sci -fi in general.-despite what they may think of fans. yes, I end up having fun conversations with fellow fans also, everyone does, I hope so much to meet up with you guys someday!

I have to try and get to the "meet up" spot in Anaheim 2022. I'd never been available at the planned time... I mean, I was there, but usually had something else planned. I did meet some members of the FF at the receptions in Orlando in 2010 and 2012. There was a lady (she's no longer around) who accompanied me for blue milk at Uno Chicago in Orlando in 2012, on the Sunday after Celebration was over.

If Cele. was still on ,I would be- going to the opening "ceremony', or depending on who was there for autographs, getting in line for them, going to The Store, going to the Hallmark booth, going shopping on the floor and attending interesting panels- eating "recycled food"! (hee-hee)
