I said Jedi Trial was the worst Star Wars book I had read recently.

I had my appendix taken out Friday night. I did only slightly more than nothing on Saturday, but I've had a lot of time to read since then. Labyrinth of Evil seems to be tying up most of the loose ends if you skipped all the Clone Wars novels, although I'm unclear about what happened to Ventress.

Reviewers on amazon seem to be trashing Jedi Trial as well. I always wait for paperback anyway.

I'm reading Yoda, Dark Rendezvous & its pretty good so far. It explains Count Dooku's background & his relationship with master/ apprentice relationship quite a bit. However, where I'm at in the story right now, it seems to have gone on a tangent, focusing on some force challenged Padawan, named Scout, who makes up with determination what she lacks in force sensitivity. I'm sure it has a point with the story, but its taking forever to get there. Can you say, "RUDY! RUDY! RUDY!" ;)

Labyrinth of Evil is next on my list! :D

On the Cosby Show, the youngest daughter's name was "Rudy." Later years, after Rudy had gotten older and hence no-longer cute due to age, the brought along a new kid to be the cute one. I think her name was Olivia.

Finally got Labyrinth Of Evil off the hold list here at the library. Making an official start tonight! Just got that Dark Rendevous in as well, but not sure if I want to get into that one just yet. Maybe read a few more reviews before I jump into that one.

After Jedi Trial is Yoda: Dark Rendezvous, then Labyrinth of Evil, then Revenge of the Sith. I suppose I should post more of my LoE summary. Events of YDR are referred to in LoE, but nothing major.

Since Labyrinth of Evil, I have read Republic Commando: Hard Contact. I thought it was very good. It was nice to read a book that was focused on one planet with one mission.

I am now re-reading The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Some people at work watched the trailer after a meeting, and I couldn't recall how it correlated with the book. I previously read it in 8th grade.

I've been meaning to read the Star Wars novelization myself. I've had a copy for a long time, but never really looked at it.

I finished Yoda: Dark Rondevous last week and found it hard to put down. The chapters were a bit long for my liking, but the characters were interesting. I'm not really a Yoda fan, but I liked this book more than I thought I would.

    Working on Survivor's Quest now.

I'm currently reading March Upcountry by David Weber and came across this:

Julian snarled, wiggling deeper into the enveloping memory plastic of his cocoon as the shuttle hit another bump. ?If I wanted to make lousy drops on hostile planets under insane commanders I could?ve stayed with Sixth Fleet.?
    Despreaux laughed.
?Oh, Zeus, that?s rich! You were in the Sixth??
?Yep, under Admiral Helmut, Dark Lord of the Sixth.? He shook his head in memory. ?Now there was a character. Kill you as soon as look at you.?

I guess Mr. Weber likes Space Balls / Star Wars, heheh.

"i DONT read ... i just get the audio book"

I LOVE audio books. I'm a graphic artist, so I listen to audio books all the time. Unfortunately, I usually don't have the opportunity to just sit down & read a book. If I do, it takes me 6 months to finish it~ a little here & a little there. Its like watching a movie in pieces. Its not as enjoyable.

Same here. I'm still reading Labyrinth of Evil(though I'm just pages from finishing) But I've had to check it out 3 times since we released it here at the library, and thats longer than you might think when you include pauses for the holds on book titles and such.

But I AM listening to the NPR Star Wars Original Radio Drama right now at work. Granted its not a book but it has all kinds of neat extras that aren't in the movie.

I got the Audio Book for ROTS and read the book too, there are a lot of BIG differences between the two. The Audio Book leaves out and skips over TONS of stuff.

I don't think I'll do the Audio Book thing again.
