In Rogue Squadron 1 for N64, Kasan Moore was a TIE ace who defected to the Rebellion and assisted them by giving them information and by flying with the Rogues. Unfortunately, RS2 and RS3 don't follow the excellent story of the first one, and I'm pretty sure that all of this was established after Stackpole wrote the X-wing series, so all sources that should tell us where Kasan Moore is, are gone. Is there any canon continuation to her story?

In retrospect, it would have been cooler if Kasan Moor was Shira Brie.

I'd say she died at the Battle of Endor, myself.

I'd rather find out what happened to Avan and Feylis(?) and Plourr, myself.

    Definately Xarcce.

We found out about the Quarren, whose name escapes me, why not the others?

We have established numbers on how many Rogues survived Hoth, don't we? Somebody check that, because I'm not sure she would be able to survive, given who we already know survived. It not there, she certainly died at Endor, given what we know of survival there. The only way she could still be alive would be if she transferred out at some point.

Or maybe she got retconned or uncharactered.

She fought at Mon Calamari, so no. She didn't die at Hoth or Endor.

That could easily be chalked up to game mechanics. Her random dialogue plays -- it isn't explicit, or necessary for the story, that she be there. However, I wouldn't mind if she was retconned as having transferred out before Hoth and was leading her own squadron at Mon Calamari.

Hey, Mynock was at the Battle of Calamari, too. Even though Wedge was in a V-wing and Mynock had become Gate years ago. Go figure... [face_tired]

Perhaps Kasan Moor is actually Tycho Celchu, pre-sex change operation. Affter all, thier stories are nearly identical, and we loose touch with Kasan right around the time that Tycho's history with the squad really picks up. Couple this with the fact Tycho and Winter are one of the VERY few EU couples to not produce children....

    :p

Before I read the X-wingers, I thought that Wedge was (abusivley) calling his pilots "mynocks"...

I wasn't aware that we knew one way or the other if Tycho and Winter have any children.

I think the implication is that if they'd had any, we would've seen them in Union, since that was the case with every other character in the known universe.

Did we hear Antilles call the can Mynock? I just want to make my intentions clear: I do not like Devestator missiles.

Maybe we need Insider to publish a "Where are they now?" article about really obscure characters like these Rouges, almost as a follow-up to their Who's Who in Rouge Squadron?

Well maybe they didn't have any kids at the tim Union took place. That was still like 5 or 6 years before the NJO. They could have had one in between then.

They could have indeed. We can bring up minor characters all we want, but we aren't guarunteed any official knowledge as to what happened to them. Besides, the galaxy (hell, even Earth by itself) is too big to stick to the same 100 basic characters. Some have be dropped to tell the tales of others. No biggie.

I've been going through the Galaxy Card Series in TF.N's archives (which are awesome, but I didn't find out about them until recently), and have seen tons of obscure references and retcon opportunities (in addition to other cool EU illustrations.) :D

Kasan Moore? It kinda looks like her pic in Rogue Squadron 3D/64... [face_thinking]

EDIT: No, wait, that's Ru Murleen. Oh well...

Still, nothing beats a Rebel Assault reference. [face_peace]

    Unless it's a Yoda Stories nod. [face_batting]
