Donald Sutherland; I have a feeling this will be the one I'm most thrilled about out of all of them - what an awesome actor
Phyllis Diller; she wrote the jokes for that mouse puppet on Ed Sullivan's show, did you know that? She said that on Fresh Air once
Camilla Parker Bowles; oh god i'm so glad about this one
Art Linkletter; I feel I should have an opinion about such an influential figure, so I felt bad about putting him in the "no opinion" category
Angela Merkel; her finest hour involved getting a bunch of beer rained down upon her head - we have that in common
James Cagney; ooh, tight competition with Sutherland - Cagney's such an amazing actor - his performances damn well hold up, which is amazing when you think about the way acting styles have changed since he was a star
Craig Armstrong; I can't believe I know who this is - probably nobody else in this thread does - but he's a country singer from the nineties and he has one song that I absolutely adore, Almost Home - all of his other songs are garbage, but I love Almost Home

Two thoughts: Donald Sutherland and James Cagney are the most awesome ones on my list. And who came up with the criteria for who counts as a star. Because I think I know more movie actors and actresses than the average person and I haven't heard of a ton of these people.

EDIT: It might actually be hilarious to research some of these people. Like Robert Romanus, Movie Actor. So, he was in Fast Times at Ridgmont High, had a guest appearance on Will & Grace and appeared in the music video for Styx's Kilroy was Here. I mean, that's fantastic. Any one of those things would get him on my short list of most awesome people; especially the Styx one.

My B-Day is today I've never bothered to check on who I share it with-Although Friday at CVS some lady speaking FARCI/English had the same b-day waiting for her pills I got my XANAX and NORCO just in time……….

 

The only Cagney film I've seen is Double Indemnity sadly, but he was excellent in that as was the movie itself.

 

James Cagney is not in Double Indemnity.

 

St. Valentine was beheaded on my birthday.

 

What? He's not? Who the flying tator tots plays the main characters best friend? I hate myself now.

 

Edward G. Robinson, I think, is who you're thinking of.

I'd recommend Yankee Doodle Dandy and Each Dawn I Die as good places to start with Cagney.
