Which creatures inhabit the lower levels of Coruscant?

I'm writing a fanfic and I'd like to know if there are rats on Coruscant or if they're called vrelts or something else. I've looked up "vrelts" in the Unofficial Encyclopedia and it names them as Corellian, but are they really only found on Corellia, or do they thrive in the lower levels of Coruscant as well?

Does anybody know of any other small but vicious rodent-type creatures that are officially mentioned in the SW books and could conceivably also live on Coruscant?

Any help would be appreciated!

 

Wedge's Gamble talks about a number of animals which are found on Coruscant, including hawk-bats, granite slugs, and borrats. borrats are described as having:

"tusks, spines, armored flesh, and claws that can dig through ferrocrete."

they're rodents, but can get as big as two metres long.

In Darth Maul Shadow Hunter you get some good descriptions too;
Cthons, cannibal human subspecies
And those big things that repulse the force. They start with 't'

 

Hawk-bats, granite slugs, those things from CT, and those other things from DMSH.

 

There are mutant rats, hawkbats, granite slugs, ferrocrete slugs, and shadow barnicles in the wildlife of SW, plus escaped forign creatures, and dianogas.

 

And Garbage Worms from Rogue Planet

 

The Wildlife of Star Wars would be helpful here. But if you don't have an extra $40 to throw around, it says that lots of exotic animals roam the underlevels. They are brought in as pets or gifts for dignitaries, but whenever anything escapes, it will often go to the lower levels and eventually mutate into some unfamiliar monster.

They've got everything from Ysalamiri to giant apes.

 

"Vicious rodent types" that live on Coruscant? Sure, they've got plenty of those. The worst of them are called politicians.
