Which is more powerfull a Turbolaser or a Phaser?

This is just one of those technical questions but does anyone know if a Turbolaser blast is more power than a Phaser hit?it says in Star Wars:Attack of the Clones Incredible Cross-Sections that the Quad Turbolaser Turrets on a Republic Assault ship have approximately (200 Gigatons per shot), does anyone have the power level for a phaser shot?

Hopefully this will settle that little Star Destroyer vs Enterprise debate that once raged in these threads.

The funny thing is that nobody knew exactly how powerfull Turbolaser's really were before,oh sure any fanboy could look in one of those Star Trek technical manuals and find a Phasers power level but until now a turbolasers was a mystery, the irony is that reglar laser Cannons are approximately (6 Megatons per shot) and Turbolasers are even more deadly.

it depends on what type of phaser you are talking about.

starships in Trek are equipped with type-12 phaser strips. they are comparable to turbolasers.

the Defiant-class ships have pulse phaser cannons. they use an onion effect to hit the shields with the outer layers of energy, then the inner core of the phaser blast passes through the shields to hit the target.

now, type-3b concussion phaser rifles are far more powerful than the blasters of Star Wars. a type-3b on full power can vaporize about 12 cubic meters of solid steel.

 

What im looking for is the power level,whats the amount per shot in a type 12 Phaser beam?
