I was an 8th grader when that song came out.
    I had the tape.
Course, it was a bootlegged tape I bought at a local swap meet, so did that really help his official "albums sold" count?

You don't suck just because you happen to like a certain style of music.

Unless that music is rap, but you don't automatically suck for liking it. You have to wear certain brands of clothing and make sure it's all too big and worn backwards and such. Then you begin suckage.

    Yeah, I bought it.

Not afraid to say it, I liked it then, and I still like

    ICE ICE BABY

No shame, it was the times.

The best part about that song is the intro.

*straps OPPM down and makes him watch all of the 90s music videos ever made*

    I thought hiphop loved Eminem.

There is a difference between MTV and hiphop son. Eminem just dropped the biggest bomb of his career and dissed black people.
Or if you watch MTV, he just released a classic.

Eminem is a joke, his lyrics are weak and appeal to pimpled teenagers. No offence, but even his strongest showing on the new album (mocking bird), had been done before on the Eminem Show.

Maybe Eminem could re-record ICE ICE BABY and refilm the video of it to get back on track!

First CD I ever bought. Besides IIB, its strongest tracks are "I Love You" and "Havin' A Roni."

the record company bought their own stock to push the inbred moron higher up the charts.
12 year old white boys wearing their caps backwards took it from there.

most everybody i hung out with back then were listening to GN'R or INXS

I'm particularly fond of the song he sang in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Secret of the Ooze. All of the turtles are breakdancing to it by the very end :p
