Raymus Antilles is the brother of Alderaan's Queen, Breha Organa.

In ROTS, the Tantive IV is captained by both Captain Raymus Antillies, and Captain Colton (Jeremy Bulloch).

In ANH, The Tantive IV is captained by Raymus' son, Captain Colton Antilles (named after his predecessor).

Neither Colton Antilles nor Raymus Antilles is a relation of Wedge Antilles. Raymus and Colton are from Alderaan, whereas Wedge is from Corellia.

It's a well known fact that "Antilles" is the "Smith" of the Inner Rim.

 

Bail Antilles is the predecessor of Bail Organa. Wedge is not related to Raymus Antilles, but Raymus is related to Bail Organa. He's Queen Breha's brother, thus making Raymus Bail Organa's brother-in-law.

Lucas came up with Bail Antilles and Bail Organa. The name Raymus was added by the eu folks, same with Wedge's last name.

 

So is Bail a title like Darth or is it a name like Bob?

I thought Raymus Antilles was Bail Organa's brother. I looked on the OS for Bail Antilles and he is not there. I thought Bail Organa married into the royal family on Alderaan and adopted the name of his wife. Padme's sister, Sola is married and her name is still Naberrie because her husband took his wife's last name because it is the custom on Naboo and the Naberrie name was well-known so he could get a better government job. When I saw TPM, I thought Bail Antilles=Bail Organa because I thought he should have had the Supreme Chancellor job not Palps obviously. If Bail Antilles was a senator from Alderaan, it would probably be perfectly acceptable for him to marry into the royal family since he was involved in government. I also thought that Captain Antilles in ANH=Raymus Antilles because he is so young in ROTS and so old in ANH. I mean 19 years have passed and lots of other people are still around when ANH starts. That is just my opinion.

 

Bail is just a first name, not at title. Hell, we had two Senator Keary's not too long ago. Neither man was related.

Breha Antilles married Bail Organa and became Breha Antilles-Organa. She is the Queen of Alderaan and he is the Prince Consort, as well as the first Chairman and Viceroy. Raymus is Breha's brother. What Sola did was probably Naboo tradition, but not a fast and steady one. Otherwise Anakin would've changed his name to Amidala. Not everyone is bound to it.

In the beginning, Lucas had Bail Antilles for ANH. Then changed it to Bail Organa. For whatever reason, it went back to being Bail Antilles for TPM. Then back to Bail Organa for AOTC and ROTS. In TPM, Adrian Dunbar was Bail Antilles. Lucas cut his scenes since they didn't work out. Bail Organa was, of course, played by Jimmy Smits. To clear up the issue, in 2002, the Holonet News website revealed the two Bails. It was confirmed in the monthly series, shortly thereafter as well as the behind-the-scenes books and guidebooks.
