Who Will Be In or Near Chicago Next Weekend?

C2E2 is being held at McCormick Place in Chicago April 16th-18th. Carrie Fisher, Peter Mayhew, Ray Park, and others will be there.

So will I. Anybody going?

 

I might be there. One of my friends is in a burlesque company that is currently doing a show called Nerdlesque (think slave leia, wonder woman, cat woman, etc.). I think they're gonna be doing stuff around there so I might come in to check that out.

 

There's a chance the guys behind the YouTube ST/SW reviews -RedLetterMedia- will be there. If that's the case, you have to take a picture with Harry S. Plinkett, or the whore who broke his heart.

 

How is it that a thread about meeting up in IOWA gets 13 replies and one about Chicago only gets two? Something is wrong here.

 

Because there is nothing to do in Iowa.
People in Chicago have lives.

 

I thought about going for the day - have no idea how to get from the airport to there or even which one would be best.

 

I will be nowhere near Chicago, but Mort... if you're ever in Boulder, I'll make you some goo-balls and buy you a hacky sack.
