Why do guys undo their belt at the urinal?

Why do guys like to talk about urinals incessantly? I know guys who do this in real life. Oh, and another question: Why do guys think it is such a great accomplishment to pee standing up? How many times have I heard it listed as some kind of advantage men supposedly have over women? "Oh yeah? Well, I can pee standing up!"

I seriously can not get it out unless I undo my belt even more so if I am wearing button fly jeans.

Because you/it need to breath. You/it cannot be all constrained when you're doing the deed. Who uses the slits in underwear or pants? They are useless.
