I have never found Marilyn Monroe that attractive. It's probably partially just personal preference. I prefer brunettes which, ladies, makes me no gentleman. Then there is the fact that she often played real dimbulbs, which is a turn off. I definitely recommend Some Like It Hot, despite her presence there. And I think she actually gives a very good performance in The Misfits, which is a masterpiece (though Eli Wallach gives the best performance in the film; maybe the best of his whole career).

Have you ever seen the photos released of her about a decade back of her as a brunette?

According to a biography I read several months ago, The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe, later in her career, Monroe got tired of being typecast as 'the dumb blonde' and wanted parts that would show off her intelligence, but the studio was not interested.

And I'm not a Monroe fan- I've never seen any of her movies, but I got interested in her after watching Smash.
