Why does everyone hate Pearl Harbour?

Heh, that's actually the song that inspired this thread.

Also, I remember after the attack on the Harbor, there's all the caskets lined up from people who got sploded, and this one casket has a colour photo of the guy inside in his military best.

 

Michael Bay likes missing the smaller details...like how he didn't explain how Megatron flew from Earth to that alien planet in Transformers 2 in just one day.

 

Er, they had color photos in 1941.

 

Like crystal clear, probably straight from a digital camera colour photos?

Actually, that's not an inaccuracy. The first high quality color negative stock for still photography (Kodachrome 35 mm) was available as early as 1936, five years before the scene in question.

 

I like the Pearl Harbor movie.

Agreed. Its an awful movie. The only thing that it has going for it is that the Japanese air raid is superbly executed, but other than that, Pearl Harbour is crap. And yeah, it was basically Titanic with explosions.
