I liked him in the comics and would like to see him in the cartoon.

If they bring this guy back, he should probably have a major weakness. Characters that are too good are usually no fun at all. I like Durge, but I prefer it if he was cocky Bounty Hunter from the comics. That way, he can have some of that flawed character.

I hope he's brought into the Clone Wars. So lnog as they stick to him in a more realistic way than the old Cartoon Network show did.

I was under the impression that Durge had some small development into a human character for the current show. I think I read that some where.

I think you're talking about the fact that the Cad Bane role was originally envisioned to be played by a somewhat toned-down (and you could say, humanized) version of Durge.

I'm glad they went for a completely different character.

With Grievous unable to meet Anakin; and Dooku and Sidious mostly being background villains; that really leaves only Asajj and Bane - along with any subcontracted bounty hunters - to be main antagonists (at least to Anakin) for the next four seasons. That won't cut it IMO. I've got nothing against Asajj, and Bane is an awesome character, but I think more reoccurring villains ultimately are going to have to be introduced for seasons 3-5 to keep things from getting stale.

I'm indifferent to whether or not Durge specifically is introduced. I would say that I'd prefer the introduction of new characters, but since I'm hardly familiar with Durge, he'd be acceptable to me.

A realistic revival for Durge could be cool, he might even look like this - http://www.asquaredconcepts.com/images/Lanscape/Costume/Durge.jpg

    Durge was cool

    But i prefer Bane now.
But i wouldn't mind if durge made it into a season
But i fear they have to make him child proof

The whole point of Durge is his grudge against the Clone Troopers because they are essentially a Clone Army of the Mandalorians, whom Durge hates for imprisoning him, amongst other things.

The 2003 show played him off like this

and his more monstrous appearance was

Those might be a little intense for TCW.

    If they went this route

it would probably work well with the show.
