    Ok..

Mace didn't know the clones would turn, so your grasping at straws there. Saying he had love for the clones would be incaccurate, he liked their usefulness, but not a true love or hate in one way or the other. He's not afraid about the creation of the army, but upset that their vision is slipping and they didn't see it coming.

I agree with rumsmuggler; Windu's reactions to the clones in AotC are less about them personally, and more about what they represent; the inevitable descent into war, the loss of the Jedi Order's ability to keep the peace, their clouded vision, etc.

As for why he didn't take clones to arrest Palpatine, it was probably to avoid a clash of loyalties; Palpatine was the nominal Commander-in-Chief after all. And technically speaking, the clones have no motive - or right - to arrest someone, least of all the Chancellor, for being a Sith. In the views of common soldiers, following the ways of the Sith is the same as following any 'religion', and not grounds for arrest. Only the Jedi are aware of how dangerous Sith can be, remember.

Yeah, that would be like ordering the US Army to arrest the US president because he's been proved to be a communist.

Seeing what we did in "Liberty", I would think a more accurate title for this thread would be Will Mace Windu show more Jedi Skills in the Clone Wars and kick more butt?

Just this last episode alone Obi-Wan forcelifts a speeder and crashes it into the energy fence while Anakin forcejumps in order to take out Hondo's tank. For examples of further Jedi force use please see:

    Rising Malevolence
    Defenders of Peace
    Jedi Crash
    Holocron Heist
    Liberty on Ryloth
    Innocents of Ryloth
    Dutchess of Mandalore
    Ambush
    Destroy Malevolence
    Landing at Point Rain
    Blue Shadow Virus
    Grievous Intrigue
    Cloak of Darkness

    .....among many others.

Mace was awesome in "Liberty of Ryloth", so he has already kicked some butt in the series.

    What is "mind melting"?

    Sounds messy.

Come to think of it, this reminds me of Obi-Wan not being able to stop Doolb Snoil from getting killed in The Cestus Deception...

I believe he's referring to the triple Jedi Mind Trick used on Cad Bane which had the danger of possibly turning him into a vegetable. Fortunately, Mr. Bane lived to see another day, to the delight of his fans. :p

And yeah, I do believe that the show has done justice to the Jedi. A few suspensions of disbelief, sure, but I thought Mace was very well done in Ryloth.

Ryloth was nice, but I want to see Mace Windu set himself apart more from other Jedi, showing how he's important and the second strongest Jedi Master. And Vaapad too, sounds cool. Right now he seems too much like a typical Jedi, giving orders, with too much talk. I'd like to see more of his attitude too.

And just something that's irked me about him in TCW.. those lumpy eyebrows.
