At launch, URGE will have more than 2 million tracks, which can be purchased individually at 99 cents or as full albums starting at around $9.95.

The service also will offer unlimited downloads at a monthly rate of $9.95, or $14.95 for the ability to transfer songs to any of more than 100 compatible portable music players.

Initially, URGE will also feature streaming videos, with video downloads becoming available for purchase later this year.

URGE will also be the featured music service on Microsoft's media player, which will continue to have built-in links to several other services.[/i][/blockquote][link=http://www.urge.com]URGE[/link]

Wow, the URGE layout is nearly identical to iTunes. Why ruin a good thing, huh?

Given that I don't even know if this service has launched in Australia (compared with iTunes, which works nicely with my iPod) and there are far superior media players out there, I doubt I'll be using WMP 11 much if at all. I'm sure I'll download it after the 56th time Microsoft insists that I do it though.

I can't be bothered organising my library again in another program, especially since it's annoying and time consuming how it updates album art and track info 1 track at a time. Anybody know how to get round this?

The interface looks better than iTunes I reckon but The biggest thing for me is the sync function with Creative and Iriver players. It'll definately make me consider a move back to non-ipod players next time a buy a new mp3 now that they have some good software to go with them.

Anyone know how to get the library stuff off the top?

I know you could do it in the last version, maybe it isn't an option here?
