Okay, I am very very sorry: I still have two-thirds of the stories to put marks to, and now I have to go away from my computer for a couple of days. I'll be back and will do my darnedest to have those in for Monday morning.

It is a sign of the high calibre of works entered, as well as the prolific nature of all these entries that has caused the backlog on my end (not to mention snow at work, adding to my monthly funds, but detracting from the amount of time I have had to devote to this. I am very impressed with every entry I have perused, and I have posted commentary in those threads: but for the rest, please please please be patient.

'Sokay, Derisa. We understand - as much of a pain in the butt as it is, Darth Real Life takes precedence. We'll be waiting, but we can entertain ourselves in the meantime. I'm sure we all have things to do in DRL ourselves.

 

It's okay!!! DRL attacks all of us at the most untimely times, so we shouldn't be upset that something is happening beyond your control.

 

On the plus side, I've been able to coallate final tallies for the stories Derisa has scored so far, and have the other tallies ready to go when she submits the rest.

The scoring, if anyone is curious: Each of the five points (Technical, Originality, etc.) was awarded points on a scale of 1 to 10. Therefore, a perfect total score from one judge would equal fifty.

No, in the halloween one, we had an ongoing latin discussion. in the christmas one, we're having a worldwide translation of Ish's genius. It's as it should be. Now everyone head over to ATWP so we can get my greatest work into a few languages.

 

I know that a couple other authors have mentioned it, but I do not recall the reply right now.

I would really appreciate getting any scores and comments in a pm from the reviewers. I don't care if they are collected and forwarded by the contest admins without the judges names. I just would like to know what areas my writing really needs improvement in.
