Yeah, I'd be inclined to say dig it up and put it in a Wookieepedia version of "Bad Jokes and Other Deleted Nonsense."

Come on, I'm a nice mod, not a nasty mod. Victory on Coruscant After the Battle of Coruscant and the legendary actions of the "Hero with No Fear", Anakin Skywalker, a mood of paranoia and low morale began to grip the vulnerable Republic Capital and its protectorate planets. To combat this negative outcome, the Department Of Homeworld Security suggested a celebratory event in light of the GAR's latest victory. The affair's planning and logistics responsibility was given to a famous local event liason. Under the guise of a Troop Morale Parade and Concert, the highly anticipated event was to be broadcast from the deck of the Venator Attack Crusier "Victory" throughout the galaxy. In light of the party's theme of "Those who give there lives", the Jedi Order was requested to provide any form of entertaining presentation that would represent "Jedi Culture". In a surprising and lighthearted move, several members of the Jedi Council volunteered to perform. In a fit of propagandist genius and luck, a member of the party liason, namely Wan Vilde Noldyan, recognized the Jedi's Poster Boy, Anakin Skywalker, to be proficient in singing(Apparent during the Ansionian conflict) before the war. And so insisted his performance with his compatriots. With this announcement, the Jedi Concert was made the main highlight of the event. With the acrobatic skills of Jedi Grand Master Yoda on Drums, the aggressive yet multihanded dexterity of Jedi Master Mace Windu on Bass, The Soresu art guiding Jedi Master Obiwan Kenobi's use of the Power Guitar, and finally Jedi Knight Serra Keto and her former youngling clan using ancient Jedi flow techniques as backup dancers and singers. In front of an audience of clonetroopers and the galaxy at large the festivities began. During the Jedi presentation Holonet Ratings went through the roof, unbeaten until the Union of Luke and Mara Skywalker. Due mostly to mixure of Jedi Wizardy and Clone Action viewed during the concert. Unbeknownst to the rest of the galaxy, the highly charged event was all real and that there was an attempted assassination attempt on Jedi Skywalker. The clone seen shooting at Anakin Skywalker was in fact identified as an concealed assassin droid. All of which was found to be the fault of the local liason's lax security deployment. Unwilling to let a joyous and morale boosting event be spoiled by such a treacherous act, Skywalker disabled the assassin with style and rhythm in accordance with his preformance, so as not to alarm the general public. (PS I also put it on our page of "Deleted Nonsense" - here...
Been meaning to ask about this for awhile... Eh... what? Where does this come from? There was never any retcon, nor was there a need for one... I'd delete it, but I want to make sure that this is incorrect.
Yes, I've long thought that bit dubious. The paragraph in question was carried over from the Wikipedia Coruscant article. I'm not sure of the original author. TPM/AOTC/ROTS Coruscant seems to be exactly as described in the later EU. (With the exception of the clumsy attempted retcon in Black Fleet Crisis).
finally I started working on wookieepedia as well. no own article yet but updated one with little info. the Infinite Empire one with 2 to 3 more speculated member worlds and proof/reasons for the speculation. hope it was ok I want to write more in the future, but with the speed there lol, 1000 people are faster than me already. they even have info of not yet released books that some lucky readers recieved as advanced copys or too early releases by some stores. great!
I joined a while back as "Adamwankenobi." I edit mostly articles about the live-action EU and stuff like that.
Anyone think we should include a fan retcon area where all the very good retcons can go? Like history of the Death Star or etc? It could help new comers and old timers a lot... I think. maybe McEwoks Retcon Week Thread could help.
I was actually thinking about adding the Death Star stuff from the NEC to the Death Star page. IMHO, it would make it a lot less confusing.
I think I just scanned all the pictures in the New Jedi Order Sourcebook... could I upload all of them in one time?
Yeah, but you should probably put them in the articles too, not just upload them and not put them in anything.
FYI, I set the SW Wiki as my homepage when I load my browser. This is noteworthy since it's been MSN.com since practically forever.
All along I've been tweaking things here and there, but I finally got around to registering an account. Tonight I added new pages and stubs for several Hutts (Mardoc, Grejic, Dorosii, Sibarra, etc.) and updated the Cult of M'dweshuu page with "new" information from HoloNet News #45.
OK, has the Wiki been lagging for anyone else tonight? Cause I just spent the last ten minutes waiting for the update I did to the Infinities: Return of the Jedi page to get done.
Nope... must be your ISP. Just finished uploading some images... some of them dont have articles though. so i just posted the image on the page they are supposed to be on. Anyone remember what planet Corran and Ganner went to? I have a pic for that cant, just remember the name of the place. EDIT: Darn it Tie, now its lagging
