FF:NSW WORD ASSOCIATION!!! It's BACK!!!!

JUST A GENERAL OBSERVATION...NOT HAVING A GO AT ANYONE!

Schedules are a funny thing, we always use them as an excuse to get out of things "Sorry mate, I've got such a busy schedule these days" but we always find the time to do the things WE really want to do.

Not wanting to play any sort of sympathy card here.....speaking as a Victoria that came close to perhaps never being able to speak to his family again.....STUFF THE SCHEDULE....make time for people and make sure you tell them how important they are in your life. The people you included in your life today, could be the people that will save your life tomorrow.

Clear the shedule of unimportant things for a change, and waste a day with friends or family, you never know when it might happen again.

 

I've only missed one FF meet in eleventy three years. Of course, I only every show up for the free cake.

i really should look into getting somone else to CR this place. i mean i havent got time to organise much and Im not really doing anything here.

Only reason i ghavent is coz i didnt know if it was even worth worrying about. is anyone else really active here?

Well.... I guess we could do with some colour to bring more cheer to the place.

 

I don't think there's any point in changing CRs right now. There's not enough activity to warrant it being an issue.

 

Thats what I figured.

Hell when the animated series hit i posted a couple of times, but no one here seemed to care, so even THAT didnt have an impact.

 

I think the series is awesome and loving it so far but I see what you mean about not many reacting to it in the thread.

 

ive been overseas but i still check fairly often.

I still see some of the board regulars (or ex-regulars) either on occasion or in a couple of cases all the time!

I'd love to catch up with you lot sometime though, if we can get a meet of some kind together, even if it's just coffee somewhere. I have some of you guys on Facebook now as well.

Well, I'll throw an idea out there...

How about a night of standup comedy? I'm thinking either Friday the 29th at Star Bar in the city, or Tuesday June 16th at the Laugh Garage, also in the city.

If others are interested i can come down for a comedy night on a friday, mid week no good for me though.

and if you can't shamelessly self promote on the inter webz where can you!

 

Not currently, nor ever was, an intergral member of the boards. But i do miss the boards livelier days.

 

Well, just in case anyone's reading this and feels like coming out to one, the details are:


Friday May 29th Star Bar (performing after the contest)

Wednesday June 10th: Comedy on the Rox, Roxbury Hotel.

Tuesday June 16th: (around 8pm) The Laugh Garage, followed by a mad sprint over to the other side of Hyde Park for:

Tuesday June 16th: (Around 8:45) Comedy on the Edge, William Hotel Darlinghurst. Support spot for Perth's John Robertson.

Tuesday June 30th: Support spot at The Marble Bar at 8pm.


I think the only cheap entry one is the Edge on Tuesday the 16th.

 

I will be up in July. Like to meet you guys again, like you, Drew.

Sad to see FFNSW is dying Though I know from facebook that a lot of you still hang out, just not in the fanforce sense.
