Has anyone ever played Waffle? It's another fun word-guessing game with a limited number of guesses, anywhere from 10-15. I got today's in 12 swaps.

Also they define each word after you've solved it, and it looks like the examples in a sentence are silly af.

"It did very much look like an otter doing crochet sitting on a bench, but I agree it was just a cat." like wtf

"Please could you cease your lusty gaze over my cheese sandwich."

So with the Waffle game, if you have UPPLE and you know it needs an A, you swap the A with the U and hope the U also lights up green for the other word to minimize the number of swaps?

It's a little bit of luck, just like Wordle. Until you have a lot of pieces in place, you just have to go for what you know has to fit.

I've been going through the archive, and so far I've only gotten it in 10 swaps once or twice.

Thanks, I think I'm getting it. Like if I know the word is APPLE and at the moment it spells UPPLE and there a couple different A's in the puzzle, I should swap the U with the A with the word where I think the U should go. So if one word spells JAMPY and another words spells MOVIA, I know where the U fits so that would be a green to green swap and put two letters in the right spot with one move.

I had 5 swaps remaining in today's waffle which I guess means 5 stars. I love the puzzle says "Odin's Raven! Phenomenal. That was majestic." at the bottom above the stars.

The idea is to swap the letter and try to be sure the other letter is landing at least in that word.
