SWRPF Archive WOTG III: The Breaking of the Alliance

With 9000 battle droids primed and half as many droid fighters ready to go, with still mre being made as this is being typed [or said, or thought, or narrated, whatever]. Now, to call his Imperial Contacts, perhaps they had something that his small navy could do. If only he could bring his invasion force in...

Traditor: "Okay, everyone hands up!"

Through the blast doors, 2 squads of enemy troops came through. Through the door way, Bravo could see that the sqaud of Rebel Troopers guarding the bridge enterance were dead. Behind the traitor were 2 other men and one woman, all with blasters. Wilkins stood a few feet in front of Bravo, hands raised as Bravo hands were raised.

Traiditor: "Close the blast doors!"

The enemy troops dragge dthe dead bodies in, and closed the blast doors and locked them. The enemy troops had Rebel Trooper uniforms on. The 2 squads of enemy troops, had E-11 blaster rifles. The enemy sqaud in front of Bravo had standard issue New Republic blaster pistols.

The traditor smiled at Bravo.

Traditor: "General Bravo, what a suprise. Now, the Yuuzhan Vong will finally have you...dead."

Bravo: "What is this!?"

Traditor: "Is called a take over. You, my friend, are now...dead."

The traditor gave a evil smile. Bravo and Wilkins already had their force conection going, and both men jumped in union, as the traditor raised his pistol to fire at Bravo.

Wilkins landed with a kick to the chest to the nearest enemy, as Bravo landed with a kick to the chest to the traditor. Both men got their lightsabers and turned them on, and attacked the enemy. Blaster bolts started to fly, and the two Jedi parried every shot, and attacked. But, Bravo was not ready for what happened next.

Admiral Greenwood grabbed his pistol out of his hoster and raised it and aimed it at Bravo. With both Bravo's and Wilkins' backs turned, it would be a easy shot. Both Jedi sensing this, snapped around. Wilkins was fresh off of a parry and attack, while Bravo had to fight off an attack as he sanpped around.

Wilkins: "No!!!!!!!"

Greenwood fired his pistol. Bravo eyes filled with fear, his life was now going to end. But, Wilkins jumped in front of Bravo, and took the blaster shot in the chest. Wilkins dropped to the floor, Bravo looking with horror and fear at Greenwood. But, before Greenwood could fire again, the Senior Gunnery Officer pulled out his pistol, and fired. Greenwood took the shot in the head, and he fell down, his legs collsaping from under him. His pistol falling out of his hands. Greenwood's eyes froze, and he hit the ground. A Yuuzhan Vong worm came out of Greenwood's right ear, and another officer shot it dead.

Bravo dropped to his knees, and held Wilkins' head.

Wilkins, still alive, smiled.

Bravo: "Wilkins?"

Bravo's eyes filled with tears.

Wilkins: "Sir..."

Bravo: "Please don't go."

Wilkins: "I full filled my destiny, I...I...I sav...ed...you..."

Bravo: "Wilkins...please...don't go. I love you as a brother. I loved all of you as brothers. Please...don't leave me."

Wilkins: "I love you...Jason. We love you as a brother, as you...did...u...s. Remember, the...force...will...al...way...s...b...e...wi...th...yo...u."

Wilkins' eyes closed, and his body went limp. Bravo bent down, and held his friend's head to his chest and started to cry. Wilkins, was the last of Bravo's best friends, the last of the gang. Now, there was no gang, just Bravo...alone.

The bridge crew stood in silence, as they too, had lost a brother. Their family was now one less. The sodliers that came in after the battle stood, quietly. Jedi Master Ikrit and a squad of Republic Protectors stood in the front. Everyone stood quietly, and they looked at Bravo as he held his brother...one of their family. Bravo kneeled there, holding Wilkins' head to his chest, his head on Wilkins's head, crying.

The first group of Y-Wings were tested. These ones were tested for speed. The next group would be tested for armor, speed, and weapons. Then finally, the last group would be tested for agility, and everyth

Yaliary Geovand, stepped off the rampof the shuttle, and glanced around herself. There were buildings, that appeared to be manufacturing facilities.

She straightened her hair, and stepped over to a young guard. "Excuse me sir, but where can I speal with Captain Epsilon?"

The young man smiled at her, and then led the way.

As the Inquisitor Armada emerged from hyperspace and entered into realspace, the might armada approached a resisting fleet that consisted of:

The Grand Marshal smiled with content and turned to towards Admiral Rogriss and advised him to commence attack on JSD Protector and the MCs..Piett himself ordered his fighters to commence his first phase of attack, and soon the TIE Defenders swarmed the JSD and Mon Calamari cruisers in their hundreds followed by the thousands of Bombers and Interceptors. They concentrated fire on the designated ships. The opposing warships appeared to be struggling with the TIEs and so far all divisions have received minimal if at all, damage.

The Inquisitor Armada are out of the New Republic's fleet firing range and as a result, are now striving to close into the armada. However, the IA remained stationary and allowed the NR fleet to continue approaching.

The Annihilator dropped out of hyperspace behind the NR fleet. Admiral Hawat ordered, "All batteries, open fire. I repeate, open fire."

IC: Traffic Control, upper atmosphere of Bespin
Four twin pod cloud cars zipped outwards and flanked the Sintas. "Sintas, welcome to Bespin. We would like all pertinent information to your trip here. Please also transmit your ship's ID and prepare to clear Custom scans."

"Sir, SSD Annihilator has hyperspaced behind the NR fleet"

"Excellent, inform SSD Annihilators' TIE Defenders to attack the following:

2 Nova Class Cruisers
4 Neb-B2
5 Lancer Class Frigates
4 Rebel Assault Frigates"

The Grand Marshal now approached to the viewport and watched 20 squadrons of the Annihilator's TIE Defenders swarm the designted ships bombard the designated ships.

"Excellent," Colonel Bakers glanced at the display. "Is the holocamera recording?"

"Good. Keep recording images, and have them ready for me in an hour."

Mon Calamari

The autopsies showed :
microvesicles forming all along neural and connective tissue, in conjunction with multiple organ failure possibly induced by extreme immuno-response.

One main difference between this strain and the last is:
Brain tissue is riddled with small hole's, as if eaten from the inside, and a heightened presence of the PrSPC Protein.

Lymph system contains high level doses of the same bacterium used for the cure, no apparent link as yet...

Ismaren turned and smiled faintly yet sternly to Yarlik, slowly breaking down into a nervous jitter, trying to make it obvious she was not expecting someone of HIS standing.
Time for her shot at the big time.
"Sir, I am a former member of Imperial Intelligence, and counsel to none other then Kane Lavos.
I have news. Lavos is alive, but I can not say more until you promise me asylum."

Kyana Armada, Aboard the Imperial Justice

Leonia Tavira flexed her hands within her gloves, once more in her red livery, showing her sleek form, wondering how long either would last.
She had been sick again this morning.

Banishing the thought from her mind, she turned to her sensor station.
"What is the status of the fleet? Have the probes returned?"

"Assembled Madame. Our Recon-Fighters have returned, all data in our banks. We can jump to the invasionary point when your ready."

"Good. Set course for the Roche System."

Piett leaned over to Admiral Rogriss who appears to be watching the battle intensely. "Have your fleet maximize firepower to get this over and done with."

"Understood."

Soon, small sparks started to appear from some of the capital ships..and casualties were minimal so far.

 

Chandrila

As Rogriss watched the on-going battle he ordered all batteries to intensify its firepower.

He then ordered that all frequencies and all other possible forms of communication in and out and within the system that wasn't Imperial coded, to be jammed.

 

Bespin

"Sending information control."

*Fett clicked off the comlink and sent the information. The reservations, and specifications for the yacht were sent as well.

He looked back into the lounge of the ship and found the Yuuzhan Vong already with ooglith masquers on and pulling on clothes and equipment. Each had a holdout blaster and a side arm. Amphistaffs were hidden under their clothes and they were each equipped with several anti-security blades and retinal and finger print scanner bypasses. The scans would be smooth and only the toughest security would require the teams to use force to get through

The three other teams would have the same equipment and similar reservations and their yachts would appear just like a normal leisure ship. Everything would go smoothly*

"Get ready for security scans," warned Fett.

IC: Jarv Yarlik; Eriadu

Yarlik couldn't say he expected that response from Ismaren, but he also couldn't say that he didn't enjoy hearing it. Lavos was quite an enemy of the Republic, and Yarlik had heard quite a lot about him during daily intelligence briefings he was privy to. And now, alive again.

"Is every political figure magically returning from the dead?" he quietly asked himself.

Jarv reached into one of his pockets and pulled out a small, circular device. Yarlik put his finger to his mouth and pressed firmly on the device. A loud noise appeared and then silence.

"Now we may speak freely for a time, until NRI deems this to be more than usual static. It has become necessary for me to carry one of these wherever I wish to have a private conversation. Asylum? quite a heavy offer. But I believe it is more than accomplishable."

OCC: Grand_Admiral_Piett and/or Ben_Skywalker, don't forget you have Imperial Special Forces on the planet, if you have anything for them to do tell them via coded message. There could be Imperial loyalist on the planet also.

IC: Pax Dellos; Eriadu

Pax tapped a few buttons on his desk and orders were sent to the roving defene fleets to move to toward the core. Latest Intelligence reports have suggested possible Imperial movements toward Republic held worlds there. Not a good thing, but in some ways it could even help Pax.

Pax Dellos was startled to see someone barging into his office. Not quite proper for a naval officer to simply walk in without first asking or even saluting him. And if security was correct, the scanners had picked up a portable razor in his pocket. Pax knew better than that. . .

"Ah, Admiral Jetran, please be seated. Oh, and would it be too terrible of me to ask you to turn over the weapon in your pocket? It will be returned to you after our conversation."

OOC: These are the changes that have been made to the defense fleets:

+ All Defense Forces have gone on full alert

+ Second and Sixth Defense Fleets have been sent Coreward and will reach their new Roving Patrols in two RL days

 

Jetran asked told the President that a Jedi should never give away his lightsaber. Although he was not a Jedi, Admiral Dobski was and the lightsaber was his.

He had to return it to it's owner.

But for this one time he but it on the desk in front of him and asked what the President needed him for.AD

 

IC: Pax Dellos

"Thank you Admiral, your honesty is comendable. Would you care for some hot tea?" Pax asked as he brought the tea pot over from the far right of his desk. "Mon Calamari Frenk leaves. They are one of the few kinds of underwater flora that can be made into a tea. I find it soothing in times of strain or stress."

Pax poured out two small cups and pushed one toward the Admiral.

"I have asked you here to inform you of a hearing that will be held. . . well today. Admiral Dobski was arrested several days ago. I cannot disclose the charges to you, but I thought that you should know. His forces have been moved on to the stand by list and are going to be split up into smaller task forces. These orders come directly from the High Admiral himself. He will be arriving within hours."

Pax sipped some of his tea and pressed a button on his desk. Between the two, a hologram appeared. It showed the Eriadu system. Highlighted in green were the defense forces. In several shades of red were Admiral Dobski's forces.

"As you can see, Dobski held a considerable amount of the Republic's navy. It was deemed that too much of our forces were being controled by one person and that they would do better in smaller portions. I do not know what the High Admiral's intentions are. It is doubtful that you will come under fire for Dobski's actions, you were only following orders. It is also my beliefe that you will be allowed to keep at the very least one of Dobski's fleets to command," the hologram shifted to show Dobski's forces up close. Two of the fleets within his forces blinked. "Mmost likely one of these two However, I wanted you to know that you may be getting a call from the High Admiral soon regarding this situation."

Pax leaned back and waited for a response, if any were to be given at all.

"I appologise, but it is a closed military tribunal. But. . . I think I may be able to arrange a conferance room for you to view the proceedings in," Pax looked down at his desk where the built in computer laid. He pressed many keys and finally spoke. "Conference Room 14-A. There should be a droid awaiting you there with the hologram pod and some refreshments."

Thank you. Jetran picked up the lightsaber and put it back into his pocket. He then went to the conference room. Before doing that he commed the U.S. and told them of Admiral Dobski's arrest.

He told them to comm both Armada's and to tell the ships Dobski had bought.

They were told of Dobski's arrest. He ordered all ships to stay together and to contact Admiral Dobski's Armada's.

They contacted Dobski's Armada's and told them of the news.

They voted to stay with Dobski and if he was but into prison to Defect and to try and get Dobski back. Some of the crew did not agree. They were put into shuttle and were sent to Naboo.

The ships Dobski bought and his 2 Armada's formed up. They also commed LEC base and asked them to send the LEC Fleet and the Sith Fleet if needed. They had a feeling the that Dobski would be released but that the Imps would be attack soon.AD

 

Thok studies the tactical control board as he stands on the bridge. Thoughts of vong world ships attacking the ship flow through his mind. As the ship enters hyperspace, his mind shifts back to his duty.

Mon Calamari

Doctor Greenstaff went over the Mon Calamari body. He opened it up, the body belonged to a male. From a recorder, build into his comm link, he talked, as two other doctors helped him with the body.

Greenstaff: "The body looks okay, from first glance. Moving the Preyer's patch, and cutting a small hole. What the!?"

Greenstaff was shocked at what he saw, small holes everywhere. It was like something was eating the body from the inside.

Greenstaff: "Doctor Wall, could you make a small cut right below the femer? There should be a popliteal lymph node there."

Doctor Wall: "Yes sir."

Both doctors removed both the Peyer's patch and the popliteal lymph node under the left femer and put them in a solution that would keep them "alive" or fresh for a long time. From there, both doctors took samples, three samples each. The third doctor was going carefully going over and taking samples around the Peyer's patch and the popliteal lymph node under the left femer. The fourth doctor was recording everything with a holo camera.

X7 Factory Station

Back in the days of the Rebel Alliance, the rebels captured Imperial supplies. Today, all those lifes that it coast would pay off. With tons of these old and seem to be deserted stations, were tons of Imperial supplies. It ranged from the simple blaster to a battle damaged Neb. B Frigate, which was not sapce worthy no more. Imperial Army uniforms, gear and amror were amoung the most supplies the Rebel got their hands on. The stuff the Imperials didn't worry about. On top of that, Imperial navy, army, customs, and police uniforms. And on top of that, Imperial military officer uniforms, that inculded army, navy, customs, police, and stormtrooper. Amoung the most prized supplies were the stormtrooper suits. The rebels had atleast, in this sector alone, stolen 5,000 pairs of every size.

With the New Republic, these supply raids almost never happened, it only really happened in the outter rim now, and were more done by rebel radicals then New Republic personal. But, soon, all these stormtrooper suits would be put to good use.

The one thing the New Republic and or the Galactic Empire counted on were the trillions of credits worth of supplies that still stayed with old Rebel Alliance members. Booster still had his old place on Tatooine, and he had billions of credits worth of stormtrooper suits and all that they once carried.

In Bravo's early days with the Rebel Alliance and then the New Republic, he had learned many of these locations, and much of the supplies were always moved around. Bravo issued the order a while back, before he became a captain and then commander of the Gallant, that he wanted as 50% of all stormtrooper suits to be camouflaged. None of these suits were ever seen, out side the station and or base they were on. So, only the people who worked at the stations and or bases, and Bravo knew about these stormtrooper suits.

 

IC: Pax Dellos

"Sir, communications has picked up a signal coming from Vice Admiral Jetran. Vice Admiral Jetran has informed the orbiting Jedi Star Defender. . . ," the voice stressed the word defender. They obviously held Pax's sentiments regarding the name. ". . . of his arrest."

"Divulging command level secrets mutiny at best, treason at worst. Send a security squad to Conference Room 14-A and have the Vice Admiral escorted to a stateroom on the complex. And jam all signals coming from this complex."

Pax stood up before the hologram pod in his office and sent out a small download to every ship in the fleet. It was a short program, but very efficient in its means. It would upload itself into the computer cores of the entire Republic Fleet. One of these downloads was sent to the fleet almost every week, they kept the cores updated on viruses, new programs, changes in encryption. Without them, the fleet's computers would be poorly out of sync with the rest of the Republic.

This update held something else though. Within it was Pax Dellos and Tev Veroyn's command level overrides. Any ship within five hundred light years of Eriadu would have it uploaded instantly without interference, the cores wouldn't know why to reject it. The rest of the Republic's forces would have the overrides within days if not hours. This was insurance that Pax had hoped he wouldn't need to use.

It was sad that Jetran had overstepped his bounds. Pax never wanted to have to use this. But now it was all but assured that Dobski's fleets would receive the information of his arrest. Hopefully that would stay loyal to the reason they had signed up, to protect the Republic, not a man who used them to protect disgusting mining operations and lucrative business deals. Pax was indeed sorry that it had come to this, but Dobski's forces had defected once, and if they tried again he would have to use those overrides to shut the ships down and try every one of their crews for treason. There was only one punishment for treason that Pax knew of . . . death.

Pax shook his head. It couldn't come to that. He tapped some controls on the hologram pod and Admiral Gevens appeard before him. "Admiral, will you please take the liberty of assuming command of former-Admiral Dobski's armadas. They are now without a commander."
