Eh, it's okay, we're all human and make mistakes. And I'm interested in this mini challenge. And even if this is the end of the road for me, it's been a fun ride! Definitely an interesting challenge idea that I adore!

 

Alrighty... the final edit has been done to the OWTF section of this challenge!

A quick summary of what happened so everyone knows! (I know I'm always curious when crazy things happen! )

My dog unplugged my computer before I hit save on my spread sheet with the votes. I thought I had gotten all the votes recounted but I missed one. I announced Alexis_Wingstar was to the the one to become OWTF, I soon realized my mistake and corrected it with a tie. I posted a tie breaker but then found out one of the people who was to be in the tie breaker wasn't going to be able to do it and since it was my mistake that caused all of this commotion, I didn't think that was fair. So now, no one is going to be eliminated this round (and we had a disqualification so it evens out) and we will go about as normal!

I'm very sorry for all of the confusion... I have learned from my massive mistake and it won't happen again! (Though I can't promise I won't make complete new mistakes in the future! )

Challenge Three will be posted tomorrow, Monday June 16th

Wow, so much happened after I went to bed last night! I had to turn off the computer because thunderstorms were coming in, and I was tired anyway so went to bed. I'm glad I didn't see the mistake before it was caught. I don't think anyone would be happy to see they've become "one with the Force" ("But... but... but, I'm to young to die!" ). LordNyax113, you made me blush with your comment about thinking I'd make it at least to the top three. With the all the other talent participating, I'm not so sure.

 

Alexis, you have IMHO, an excellent knack for writing, especially characterization.

 

If you got comments for this challenge and you requested to recieve them, you should have them now!


Round One Challenge Three: Some random "us" words

The dreaded required words... hee hee hee (you had to know it was coming! )


For this challenge you must use all three words that end in 'us' (below) and there must be an us in the fic! (As in two people who are together, not necessarily in a relationship, just interacting with each other! )

The words: ambiguous, dubious and contagious.

Good, finally more words allowed! The last challenge brought me a plot bunny for a darned epic, and I had to squeeze it into 1000 words or under!

 

Just a reminder Challenge Three is due Monday (tomorrow!!) by 11:59pm!!

I'd like to let you all know that I may not be able to get the entries up until Wednesday. I have clinicals Tues. and Wed. that are 75 miles away (one way) and have to be there each day from 6:45 am to 7pm so I'll probably be staying in a motel Tues. night so I'm not driving completely exausted (and since gas is $4.10 a gallon! ) I'll be taking my laptop with me and I hope the hotel I'm staying at will have WiFi, but I don't know.

I'm sorry to do that, I didn't know this was going to happen. I thought I would only be there one day, but I've been promised this is the last time my schedule will change!

Oh my, it's SUNDAY! But it's the 29th not the 28th, so I don't know if I'm too late to vote since you said Sunday the 28th.

I finally read all the entries, and I'm confuddled as to which ones to vote for/against. They are all so well written! I'm guessing it's gonna be this way until the end of the challenge.

 

I forgot to vote.
Somehow I thought the votes had to be in by monday.
Idiot me. *sighes*

I have the feeling it's getting increasingly harder to vote. These entries were so good!
I laughed a lot, too.

 

Sorry about the confusion on the date... it was today at noon! That is what I get for trying to figure out a date in my head instead of looking at a calender!

We didn't have very many people vote this time... only three people! I know it is getting hard, all of the entries are very good, but VOTE anyway!


We had a tie this time in both places... both winners get immunity, but unfortunately someone still has to become One with the Force and we had to go to total game scores to find that person. I did quadruple check the votes and total scores this time as to not make the same fiasco as the last challenge!

Wow, really? Well thank you to whoever voted for me! I had my bags packed and everything. These truly were all great entries this week, and I feel pretty darned honored to just not be voted out.
