Lot of good that does me, since I already have the first 8 seasons

I can't help but think Fox knows how poorly received season 9 was, and loaded this set up with extras, and cut the price by 30 percent.

I'd pay like $30 for just the episode "The Truth" along with the extras on the set. That episode was the only worthwhile one in the season, IMO.

 

Well, I liked MORE

4-D was great, cuz it deals with 4th Dimension, time. I always liked this concept.

Trust No 1 had a GREAT black/White montage, and music I think it's this episode.

A lot of suspense and characterization in other episodes as well.

Overall, it was a disappointment, but I love the X-files!!!

Oh, I love the X-Files too. I just loved it more WITH Mulder

 

I too heard that they were going to reduce the price of all seasons. About time. 140 beans apiece is ridiculous!

I just watched 'The Erlenmeyer Flask' episode on tv. Awesome episode.

 

You know, I'd say that having the LG in it would kill continuity, but with that show, you really can never tell...

I loved that show. I was a total x-phile (and 'shipper!) in HS.

X-Files 2 Is in Pre-Production!!!

While promoting his comedic turn in the upcoming "Connie and Carla", Moviehole's Paul Fischer asked co-star David Duchovny whether the much-rumoured X-Files movie is likely to happen, and to everyone's surprise, he gave a resoundingly positive response. "It's definiely happening", the actor said. "Chris has a great idea for the new movie and I expect we'll be able to begin shooting in the next year or so."

Asked whether he expects Mulder to develop in the film, the actor said "I hope not. I was really fighting against that in the final years of the show and I think the whole point. I think we're going to be introducing a new character in the film which will allow us to cast a major star, male or female, who will want to be part of an exciting supernatural thriller. I think the new movie will appeal to both our core fans and a broad audience. I'm very excited about it."

Duchovny did not address the involvement of Agents Scully (Gillian Anderson) or Doggett (Robert Patrick) in the proposed sequel film. But he assured fans that Mulder would remain unchanged. "Mulder is Mulder," Duchovny said. "That's one of the things I learned fighting for the last three or four years on the show, trying to change the guy or give him a French accent one day. The nature of the character, and what I eventually learned to love about him, is he's set. The great thing about Mulder is we know what he's going to do: what he likes, what he loves and what he hates. We're just going to play with that, I'm sure."

It's finally happening!? Yay!

I don't know how I feel about this "guest star" though. You think they would've learned that no one can replace Mulder and Scully.

 

It better have Doggett and Reyes too (not to mention Scully, I'll be very angry if she's somehow cut).

I'm assuming this is after the finale, so is it going to be about them being in hiding in Canada or wherever they went?

 

I can not wait for this. Please, give us more x-files.

while i didn't like some of season 9, it was still the x-files and there were some good episodes. i like the one where dogget was on that oil rigger and all the guys started become aliens or atleast their eyes did that freaky black thing.

remember that tooms (think that was name?) episode - now that was classical x-files. great show, i was dissapointed with the finale though. and i also feel it went 1-2 seasons too long

I absolutely loved the X-files but we never got to see the last seasons here Stupid spanish television!!!

And, is THIS a Confirmation on X-files movies 2 BY FOX?

A spokesperson for Fox has told me a second XF film is in development, but would provide no further details about the project. When asked if Fox would confirm or deny David's recent comments about XF2 and that Fox wanted to make the film and negotiations had begun to finalize the project, the spokesperson said, "There's no announcement yet. It's a project that's in development."

I have been told Fox has seen at least a few pages of the script Carter and Spotnitz are working on and the response to what they have seen was positive. The spokesman declined to comment on whether that indeed was the case.

I got the S9 DVD set... and I watched the Bonus features.

And, I cried!!! 9 Years of Memories!!! WHAT A GREAT SHOW!!!
