Yoda's Piloting skills?

We know that Yoda was probably one of the best when he used his light sabre. But what about his fighter pilot skills? Does EU say anything about Yoda being a fighter pilot?

 

This topic does not have much with all of the PT, but more to do with the entire saga. You should post this in the Star Wars Saga board. And to answer your question, Yoda never flew a ship before himself. The only space shuttle he ever flew alone as far as my knowledge goes, was the escape pod from Kashyyyk. Judging this, I don't think Yoda is an exceptional pilot. Probably fair since every Jedi knows how to fly something.

 

I believe that he does fly in Dark Redezous, but I don't know about fighter pliot skills.

 

I have to contest your claim of Yoda's saber skills. We see him fight twice in the PT and neither battle does he win.

 

Yoda edifenatly wins his battle in Ep 2, Dokku runs away.

Dooku had the plans for the Death Star on his person, he had more important things to do. You can say he ran, but if he decided to stay for 10 more seconds Yoda would not have been able to stop another attack, especially while he was holding a multi-ton pillar aloft, he would have been dead.

It is irritating to me when people claim that Yoda won that duel, he won nothing, it was an even stand off until that pilar started to fall on Obi Wan and Anakin, after that Yoda's life was in Dooku's hands and the little green one was lucky that Dooku put the importance of his Master's plans ahead of killing Yoda.

As for Yoda's piloting skills, well we just don't see enough of them (and by enough I mean none) to make a good judgement on them.

 

Wrong. That doesn't make him the winner. If he won, Dooku would've been stopped, and taken in by the Jedi. Did that happen? No. Dooku ran, as Despised said, because he had more pressing issues.

Yoda is not what everyone makes him out to be. Yes, he fights, and yes, he's fast. As pointed out, we see him fight twice, and he doesn't win either battle. He doesn't win the battles I've read of him in the EU (Dark Rendezvous, he duels Dooku again, and again Dooku escapes). He isn't even the fastest duelist alive; Palpatine is, and it is mentioned on the Episode III DVD.

As Stover says, Yoda just. Doesn't Have it.

Does Yoda fly anything in Dark Rendezvous? The only time I can think of is when his 'double' flies a starfighter against Asajj Ventress. Yoda himself doesn't pilot.

 

I don't believe he pilots anything in that book. As said, his double does, but I don't believe he actually gets in, and pilots a fighter.
