It should never have gone to TheDarthVader in the first place. It should have been the CR of a forum or nobody.

Some guy posts for a couple of months and people think that he is one of us, but unless your a CR of RSA, you have nothing keeping you to this forum and the temptation to just dissapear must be pretty big.

I don't know what the situation is or what is going on, but he better have a bloody good excuse for pulling this kind of crap.

I think I'd better finish this post now before I say something that might get me into trouble.

Miana Kenobi: Shhhh! I got a reputation as a evil overlord to uphold. I get very nervous when people say nice things about me. It makes me think of rebellions for some reason.

If you do plan to carry on with this, may I suggest that maybe you use one of those Yoda beanies. They are still pretty cool, but are a hell of a lot cheaper and people won't be so tempted to half inch it.

And if we do find Yoda, we're going to continue on with him, but I'm going to ask Kim if we want to create some kind of waiver and have it emailed out to all the contact people. Or, like you suggested, only send it to the chapter reps.

I did not get his phone number, but Raj has it and HAS tried calling.

I made sure to get everyone over here in the state's phone number. I'll make a point to get the international numbers as well, even though I really don't want to call overseas.

So has anyone heard back from Raj, has he managed to get through?

I would imagine that if TDV has stolen him (and I use the word "as", as it is by no means clear that this happened), then he may be avoiding all calls from numbers he does not know.

Raj hasn't managed to get through, sadly.

And yes, I imagine if he did intentionally steal Yoda, he's blocking calls.

Welshguy, it confirms nothing of the sort. Until proven otherwise, please refrain from making statements like that on the board. I know from conversations with Raj that TDV has been ill previously, and seriously. Until we discover exactly what has happened, please don't jump to conclusions. For all we know, his could have lost his phone, or be in hospital where you can't use mobile phones.

I don't think it's particularly appropriate for a CR of a UK chapter to be making these kinds of accusations without the facts.

 

Blah blah Yoda's been found, is on his way to Midlands, etc etc... MOVING ON.

So pretty much, I've giving a rough estimation of about 20 days before Yoda is in Wales. He got shipped today; I'm figuring about 3 days to get to Midlands (I don't know how long post takes in the UK!) Then as long as Midlands keeps the 2 weeks rule, I'm figuring in another 3 days for shipment to you. Thus, 20 days.

Plan accordingly!

 

It should arrive in the Midlands from London in day days, possibly three.

He arrived in Midlands yesterday (he's still at the post office! LOL!). He should be in Wales in about 14-17 days.

I can't believe that he's actually made it to the Midlands. So how far behind schedule is he now?

Hmmm, shame I'm not having him at Christmas. I think he would look really cool in a Santa hat. Bt i'll be happy just to take him out on the town and het him hammered. Regardless of the time of year.

 

It looks like Yoda will be spending Christmas in France and New Years in Germany, if everything stays on schedule.

We're 3 months behind schedule.
