i just got the r2-d2 'fully operationaly droid' yesterday. It has worked out nicely. The downside is that I am left broke but I am trying to sell some video games to my friends for some cash. Also, AOTC and classic figures are in the mail, and should arrive Friday. Next, I plan to AOTC soundtrack and some more action figures.

 

I've been Busy... at a garage sale I picked up the R2/3po bank and the Darth Vader bank... Power of the Force "Lazer pistol" Leia, a set of Star wars cards. And today, Aayla Secura, Droid factory Chase Padme and Yoda and Chian (K-B toys 2.99$ each)

 

I just pick up The Final Duel scene pack, Boba Fett-Pit of carkoon and two pez one Boba Fett and the other Darth Vader yesterday. Everything for 25 dollars!

where is everyone finding this stuff? target, walmart, k-b, tru??????? looks as if it's all being bought everywhere BUT california

i was in target the other night and tuan we and nikto the ultimate peg warmers were all that was around, yet there was 10 new yoda sabers sitting there. walmart is still in jango la-la land. the figure scene in southern california is disgusting

 

Mostly Wal-Marts for me. Though the only place I've seen the lastest Collection 1 wave (Hoth Han & Chewie) was at a Target.

The thing is the new stuff isn't lasting long on shelves, it's gone in a few days. They're only putting out one or two cases of new figures at a time, making for a feeding frenzy. What's left behind is a lot of late 2002 figures and maybe a couple Collection 2 2003s like Droid Factory Padme & the Analysis Droids.

 

I'm getting 95% of my new stuff online. In the last 3 months I've only found Destroyer Droid Geonosis Battle and the last wave of Action Fleet vehicles at Wal-Mart and nothing at K-Mart.

I found "Speeder Bike Anakin" (AKA I slammed my **** REALLY HARD but I'm gonna smile anyway Anakin) at Target a few weeks agao, bough the one of the 5... next day *Poof* all the rest were GONE... you gotta be quick... and Lucky!

 

I agree with whats been said. They only bring out a small amount and then the frenzy occurs. That is why I have opted to order cases on line instead of banging my head against the wall anymore. I spend about the same amount of money once you figure in the gas money I am saving doing it this way.

Vintage X-wing Luke and Emperor (both loose and C9) I am so happy!

Still searching for Pit of Carkoon Boba Fett. Grrrrr.

 

Just started going to this thread.

I got a 4-pack of AOTC figures, Han Endor Raid, Padme Geonosis Escape with insert, Shaak Ti with insert and Super Battle Droid with insert and I also got an AT-TE Action Fleet Vehicle.

 

I ran into Han Solo (Hoth Rescue) and Chewbacca (Mynock Hunt) this morning at Wal*Mart. I didn't get them because they weren't in very good condition, but I did get another Boba Fett (The Pit of Carkoon) to open. Anyway, I went back after school and the new figures were all gone...except for that horrible flying R2.

 

I received in the mail four new figures. Vader (bespin duel), Ki-Adi Mundi, Anakin (hangar duel) and Lott Dodd.

 

That sounds similar to what's happening around here PhantomMenace...the new waves just aren't lasting very long on the pegs.

 

I just got a 3rd Ephant Mon. This is the only time I ever saw him in a store. My first 2 came from Amazon.

I plan on using him as trade next week at our ComicCon. I should get something good for him.

 

I just ordered an endor soldier with han solo and lott dodd with luke skywalker. Those are from the kbtoys online store. I also ordered that sith poster with all the sith lords on it (Count Dooku, Darth Maul, Darth Vader and the emperor) from allposters.com. Can't wait until I get it because I have a frame ready to put it in. and the poster looks so NICE!!
