"You are a collector, are you not?" The new acquisitions thread.

Dropped by TRU after work on Friday since I'd heard that some people were reporting the Imperial Forces 4-pack on the shelves.

For some reason it took me a minute or two of looking at the shelves before I finally saw it. But they had five of them, I picked up one. While checking out the cashier mentions that they had just put those out that morning.

By Sunday afternoon there were still three on the shelves, so they aren't going too fast.

I'll be reviewing it in the official review thread later today.

 

Bought the Luke Skywalker and Han Solo Death Star Trash Compactor Set finally.

 

I have not posted in here in a while! So it's going to sound like I got a lot but all this stuff was gotten over the course of a month...

A friend of mine got me a Saga Tie Bomber last month

Then I ordered Unleashed Tyranus, Ephant Mon & Boba/Pit of Carkoon, They are all Very Cool

So then last week I found a Spider Droid at Target

Aaaaand Saturday I found the TRU Imperial Forces pack! It's a pretty damn good set considering they are repaints & retooled figures

And I got Clone Wars for XBOX! It is one of the Coolest games ever!!!! Hey Sithy, You would Loooove it, You get to fly Teh Gunship

 

well this is my first post on this thread. I haven't seen anything new since December so I haven't bought anything lately. Last week I did find the 2003 tusken raider figure, and this week friday I am going to get up when TRU opens and see if they get the new stuff in.

I just recently ordered the AOTC imax poster in 27*40 format. I also ordered 8 POTF figures off cloudcity.com. I also ordered five 12' dolls from the classic triliogy.

 

I made the biggest purchase of my collecting years just about 2 weeks ago. We came into the possession of about 480 Episode I posters. Didn't want that many, but couldn't resist getting a few and the guy made me a deal on the entire lot of them. Got 160 ea. of three of the four posters in the set - and really only wanted a few of each.

They're the original Episode I posters that were distributed by Taco Bell in 1999 to promote the theatre release.

I've been a fan since SW - but didn't get back into it until the recent excitement around Episode III. When I found the posters, I just couldn't resist.

Anyone have an idea of the value they might bring?

 

I managed to pick up recently a Mace Windu Unleashed for only £5

 

Picked up Yoda: Jedi High Council today.

 

Found the Leia Unleashed, it tis cool!

Well, for the second time I managed to snag the 'last box' so to speak... first with Amazon and Liea Unleashed and now, EE for the last Wave five box with Obi, Luke and Sidious!

Hehe. I have 5 white Sneak Preview Clonetroopers, 2 Clone Pilots, 1 Biker Scout, and 1 red striped clone.


Looks so sweet with 6 white clones and 1 red clone inside. (and three Jedi: Mace, Yoda and Ki-Adi)

It's incredibly movie-accurate.

 

Picked up 2 LEGO Geonosian starfighter sets at KMart They were on sale for $13 each

I decided to get 2 because they're on sale and because at some point I want to recreate the AOTC scene with LEGO Teh Gunship, Dooku's speeder & the 2 Geonosian starfighters

Now I just have to figure out how I can afford to buy the LEGO Gunship, It's not cheap! Maybe KMart will have it on sale

 

I finally got my New Republic Special forces patch! yay! it is very cool I'm turning one of my favorite Jackets into a reble flight jacket, it will be very cool...now I just gotta find a sewing needle.

Got the new Unleashed wave from ActionFigureExpress today Obi-Wan, Sidious, Luke. Sidious is so funny his hands look like the wicked witch of the west.

 

How long does it take for ActionFigureExpress to deliver orders finster?

I placed an order for a case of figures and am currently waiting for it to arrive. I received an e-mail saying my paypal payment has been received and has cleared, so now it is just a matter of waiting. I would just like to know how long I must wait.

 

JediJunkie what case did you order? I ordered 2 case form them wave 13 and wave 11. If they shipped yours then mine can't be to to far behind.

 

You should look at the release dates most of there products are pre-orders so if its not out yet they can't ship it to you. Check your e-mail should have a link to check the status of the order.

 

I picked up Han Hoth rescue, Chewie Mynock Hunt, Boba fett Pit of carkoon, Yoda and Chian, Aayla Secura, and Barriss Offee. These all are so awesome. I think maybe the best figures I have ever picked.

 

First off, sorry I got you confused buster.

Secondly, my order status says my order has been placed. And the release date is June 2003. So it may be a while.

And I ordered Collection 2 Wave A 008. (I think that's right.)

 

Still waiting on that wave myself. My collection 2 is horrible collection 1 is not too bad.
