"You are a collector, are you not?" The new acquisitions thread.

This should be my last acquisition for awhile.

I picked up the Lego UCS TIE Interceptor on clearance at TRU for $35. I'd been watching it sit there at $70 for several months, and my patience paid off.

Assembling it will give me something to do next week while I'm recovering from hernia surgery. Needless to say because of that it will be awhile before I do another serious trench run.

 

My parents got me the Tie Interceptor for Christmas 2 years ago and paid $100 for it. Why could I have not waited.

 

I just recently received five 12' dolls from the OT and 8 POTF green carded figures. I am a frequent buyer from cloudcity.com. If you haven't checked it this website, you should, it has everything.

 

The new mini Legos arrived at my house on Saturday.

 

The Aayla Secura and Barriss Offee figures I totally forgot I pre-ordered many months ago showed up today. That was pretty cool, and totally unexpected.

Cool, it sounds like those 2-packs are starting to finally hit the stores. Question, are they the same price as a single AF?

 

I went to target and found an ayala and 2 bariss and some droid factory padme. happy day!

Amen to that. The figures are cool, too. I'm not sure which one I like more, at this point. I've been an Aayla Secura fan from the comics for a long time, but I got to like Barriss a lot more when I read 'Star Wars: The Approaching Storm'.

 

I finally got around to reading this thread the other day and I quite enjoy it! I've got a hellofalotta stuff to list since the time I posted my pics... bare with me, and enjoy (hee hee, I recently did my GED and was greatly rewarded by family. What could've been better than gorging on SW stuff? Mmmm....NOTHING!)

So today I go on a small toy run, I stopped at TRU & Target, Target got me excited for a split second cause they finally put out "newer" SW figures! Unfortunately they were the Clone Pilot & Yoda Jedi Council waves!! I just can't win!

So I go to TRU & there is nothing new either, So I go to leave & I see the G.I.Joe figures

I Loooooved G.I.Joe when I was a kid & Had been eyeing up the new Snake Eyes & Cobra Commander And since I came up empty for new SW figures yet again I broke down & bought them!

I NEED new SW figures soon!! Before I buy another G.I.Joe or TRANSFORMER!!!
