I haven't opened him yet, but I don't think there was a stand. Will have to check that out now.

 

jackpot today

Went to Target at lunch and was really wanting the new Hoth han. Well walked into the toy area and guess what, new stuff. I picked up the new 3PO, Boba carkoon. they also had the new Chewie with Mynock, the new happy meal R2 and final dual vader and Luke and new packaged K.E Jango. Chewie was cool, but I have too many of Him. Luke looks like a chipmunk with his buck teeth and looks lame and vader, well, vader is always cool, but I have enough of him. So I start walking away with 3po and boba and look back one more time because i know i wont see the ones I left for awhile. So go back just to look at them and guess what I found, Hoth han on the back peg, last one too. SCORE.

All I have to say is "stay on Target"

 

I got sick of always walking out of TRU without buying anything (the action figure area manger always gives me odd looks), so I picked up a Bespin Luke Skywalker. Pretty cool figure, I can't believe it took me this long to finally buy it.

 

Darc, 0n the KE Jango, I didnt see a stand and this was the new packaging too. 3po has the stand though, not sure why they didnt on jango.

 

BTW, first new card fig (3po), IMAO, these new card backs are sweet, totally have the OT feel to them. I love that they have an actual pic of the character and list 10 new figs on the back. Very cool. They should have been this way from the get go.

 

Scavenged through the $1.99 figures at one of the KB's in town today. Picked up a Cloud City Escape Chewie and a C-3PO Protocol Droid with background. I'll probably hit the other KB across town tomorrow.

I totally agree with you, k3po. I think the main reason I bought a couple of saga figures I normally wouldn't have bought was because of the new cards. I normally stick with OT characters in my figure buying, but the cards sucked me in and I ended up with some Ep. 1 & 2 figures also.

 

TRU had clone troopers 3-packs Battle Droid 3-packs and the Destroyer droid launcher. Army is growing. 1st new basic figs. found in a store since.... since... December

 

I found a weird one a week ago. It was the Library droids 2-pack, but one of the droids heads had fallen off, and was (or IS) floating around the package?!??! Thats a first for me. Also, Just bought the 2 newest SW books today (shatterpoint, and Force Heretic III ) and even though its not Star wars, I got a 2000 dodge dakota yesterday All I need now is a Personalized liscense plate (JEDI-JACE), and a custom Mandalorian (red bantha skull)decal for the rear window!!!!!!!!!! (anyone know if you can buy those online anywhere?) Later, all.

 

Jedijace007 - Me too!! I saw one a library droid 2-pack at Target recently and one of the heads was almost completely fallen off. I can only imagine how easily the head of this droid would fall off if I had it out of the package.

I picked up two red Clone Troopers today at a K*B Toys out of town for $1.99 each. You can't beat that kind of a deal for things that you need for scenic displays (or for any collecting needs, for that matter).


EDIT: I almost forgot - I was at a bargain store (can't remember the name for the life of me), but they had a TON of Epic Force C-3POs for $3.99 each. I never collected Epic Force when it was out, but I thought I'd get one for the price. He's really cool!

 

PHANTOMENACE: Which droid's head was off in the one you saw? (left droid or right) I got this one at Target (Largo Mall) too! I already had the droids, but couldn't pass up this "variant"! I wonder if its valuable?

Jedijace007 - It was the droid on the right. It's not a variant and its not worth more than any other droid 2-pack. In fact, its probably worth less, since the head fell off. Its just an accident that probably occured during shipping.

 

Hey guys, if anyone happens to find a Clone Wars all-white (no colored clonies) Clonetrooper 3-pack, I'd love to buy it off of you! Send me a PM, eh?

Well, hit the other $1.99 K*B sale in town today. The first K*B I went to a couple of days ago had some really beat-up figures, but this one had much nicer stuff. Picked up Coruscant Sentry Artoo (he actually still beeps!), Dexter Jettster, Saesee Tiin, Outland Peasant Anakin, & Coruscant Attack Padme. I would probably have never bought any of these figures had they not been on sale. That's one positive thing you can say about K*B. They may be expensive normally, but they know how to have a sale!

 

I'm a happy little boy today.

I called up a Wal*Mart in a town about 15 miles from my own, checking to see if they had the second clone pilot I am looking for. The toy dept. manager went to look and then came back and said, "I'm sorry, we don't have that one. But, we do have Snowtrooper". My eyes lit up, and knowing that Snowtrooper was in the Final Duel Vader/Final Duel Luke wave, I replied, "By any chance do you all have Darth Vader"? And he said, "Yeah we have one of those." My mouth then dropped. I asked again, "And what about Luke Skywalker"? The manager said, "We have a couple of those, too." By this time, I couldn't take it anymore. I quickly ran to my car and drove all the way over there. I rushed into the toy section, and was astonished to see the newly-carded 2003 figures! They had one Darth, one Luke, two Snowtroopers, one C-3PO, one Mynock Chewie, one Han Hoth, and one flying R2. All of the figures were in buyable shape, so I took with me a Darth, Luke, Han Hoth, and Mynock Chewie. I decided to wait on Snowtrooper, since he wasn't one that I was really interested in. I was sooooo happy to have found these guys.

 

The other day I pick up:

...basic figures were split between two Wal-Marts, Droid Army was picked up for me at a TRU a week or two ago but I finally got it, and the Obi-Wan was hiding behind some Padme Unleasheds at a TRU as well.

This morning I picked up the new Clone Wars AAT at TRU! First Clone Wars stuff I have seen EVER! I was like " [face_shocked] " when I saw about 5 of the Clone Wars AATs, 3 Clone Wars Jedi Starfighters, and 2 each of the Luke, Sidious and Obi-Wan Unleashed figures! I was in shock!

All I got was the AAT (it's all I wanted), but it's great to know that the Clone Wars stuff is finally coming!

Anyways, I never got an AAT with the TPM line of figures, so I was really amped to finally get one (I love them in TPM )! My first reaction when I took it out of the box was, "THIS THING IS HUGE!" I was expecting it to be much smaller, but it's enormous! w00h00! My Clone War diorama is rockin'!

 

Unleashed Luke, Unleashed Obi-Wan and Unleashed Darth Sidious all from Entertainmentearth. I had givin' up all hope of finding them in the stores.

 

I went on a three-hour tour this weekend looking for stuff. I went to Meijer, Kmart, 2 Target?s, 2 Wal-Mart?s, KB, and TRU. I found an Endor Rebel Solider without a beard at Wal-Mart and POTJ Shmi at KB. At TRU I picked up three 12? figures. Lando in Skiff disguise, Han Solo with quick draw action, and AT-ST driver.
